Abstract:
A cutting board assembly includes a frame, including a support platform; a cutting board removably retained on the support platform; a grating portion disposed in the support platform; and a peeling portion disposed in the support platform. A container is received by and retained within the frame. The container is movable between a retracted position, in which the container is substantially disposed interior to the frame, and a protracted position, in which the container is substantially disposed exterior to the frame. The grating portion is located relative to the container such that bits of food that are grated using the grating portion are received and retained within the container. The peeling portion is located relative to the container such that portions of food that are cut using the peeling portion are received and retained within the container.
Abstract:
A serving tray includes an aperture extending there through and a serving area, whereby food waste may be received through the aperture into a holding area of the serving tray pending disposal.

Abstract:
A writing instrument for use by a grader comprises an elongate, tubular housing, a writing component secured within the housing and operative to make marks on a surface, and a calculation assembly comprised of electronic components. The calculation assembly is retained within the housing and includes a plurality of data entry devices for entering data used to calculate a grade, the data entry devices being accessible by the grader through an exterior surface of the housing; a processing device programmed to receive data from the plurality of data entry devices and calculate the grade based on the entered data by performing division; and a display component for displaying to the grader the grade calculated by the processing device. A method of grading comprises using the writing instrument.
Abstract:
A method of drawing lines into a housing includes: rotating a dial in a first rotational direction of the dial such that a first spool located in an interior of the housing is mechanically rotated in a first rotational direction thereby winding a first line thereabout; and rotating the same dial in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction such that a second spool located in the interior of the housing is mechanically rotated in a first rotational direction thereby winding a second line thereabout. The rotating of the same dial in the second, opposite rotational direction does not result in unwinding of the first line from the first spool, and the rotating of the same dial in the first rotational direction does not result in unwinding of the second line from the second spool.
Abstract:
A stroller for transporting a child includes a wheeled frame including at least two base rails interconnected by a cylindrical hub, a spine, and a bracing linkage. A basket attaches to the spine, confining the child and supporting a seat ring. The seat ring includes upper and lower connected concentric arcs having different radii and supports a seat back on its lower arc. The seat back reclines, and the seat ring rotates from center. A seat base is supported on the frame and includes a platform movable between an extended position disposed inside the seat ring and a retracted position withdrawn from the seat ring. The stroller permits the child to be safely and comfortably transported in a standing, seated, or reclined position.
Abstract:
An exercise apparatus includes a frame; a platform configured to receive a person in a standing position, the platform connected to the frame; a handheld component configured to be held by a person standing on the platform; and an impeller-driven fluid circulation system. Manipulation of the handheld component by a person standing on the platform results in driving of the impeller and circulation of fluid within the fluid circulation system. The platform may rock from side to side, whereby a person standing on the platform must maintain balance while manipulating the handheld component. The handheld component may simulate a paddle and may include an elongate shaft. In this respect, the paddle component is used by a person standing on the platform as if the paddle component were a paddle used in paddleboarding, including manipulating the paddle component through a rowing motion that preferably would be experienced when actually paddleboarding.
