Abstract: A display device and a display control method, and the display device includes: a backlight module, a first display panel, and a second display panel, and a processor. The processor is configured to: acquire a pixel grayscale matrix of an image to be displayed; determine desired brightness of each pixel by using a grayscale-brightness curve of the second display panel based on the pixel grayscale matrix; determine set light-emitting brightness of backlight partition according to grayscale information in the pixel grayscale matrix corresponding to the backlight partition; obtain a first corrected brightness of each backlight partition based on light diffusion coefficients of the plurality of backlight partitions; determine a grayscale of pixel unit according to a brightness difference between the first corrected brightness and the desired brightness; obtain a second corrected brightness of the backlight partition.

Abstract: In a backlight module of a display apparatus, the base substrate is a flat plate structure, so that the backlight module can be prevented from being subjected to a bending internal stress, thereby avoiding a damage to the backlight module and ensuring a yield of the display apparatus. At the same time, the difference of backlight brightness provided by the backlight module to different regions of the display panel is smaller, so that brightness uniformity of different regions of the display apparatus can be ensured, and a display effect of the display apparatus is better.

Abstract: A display panel includes: a backplane, a plurality of light-emitting devices, a plurality of connecting leads, a first protective layer and a reflective layer. The backplane includes a first main surface, a second main surface, and a plurality of side surfaces. At least one side surface is as a selected side surface. The plurality of light-emitting devices are disposed on the second main surface and are electrically connected to the plurality of connecting leads. The plurality of connecting leads are disposed on the first main surface, the selected side surface and the second main surface, and each connecting lead sequentially passes through the selected side surface and the second main surface from the first main surface. The first protective layer covers the plurality of connecting leads. The reflective layer includes at least a first portion covering a portion of the first protective layer on the selected side surface.
