摘要: A method for registering a 3D mesh and a 3D volume image of a patients teeth obtains a 3D volume image of the patients teeth in an occlusion position, the 3D volume image containing at least one jaw portion. A contour surface is generated to form the 3D mesh corresponding to at least one of lingual and vestibular surfaces of the teeth from the 3D volume image. A registered mesh is provided in an occlusion position, the registered mesh having at least one of the vestibular and lingual surfaces. The registered mesh is registered with the generated contour surface content and displayed with the 3D volume image.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a pack bag for transporting at least a head portion of an antlered big-game animal. The pack bag comprises foldable flaps defining an opening for inserting the antlered big-game animal head into the pack bag. Upon insertion, a bottom flap can extend from the opening and at least partially fold onto itself (e.g., to cover hide attached to the head portion). In addition, a top flap opposite the bottom flap can extend from the opening and pass between antlers and over the at least partially folded bottom flap. A fastener connected to at least one of the top or bottom flaps can then compress the top and bottom flaps against the antlered big-game animal head. Additionally, the pack bag is attachable to a backpack, saddle, or other carrying apparatus (e.g., via a loop, eyelet, etc. provided on an outer surface of the pack bag).

In certain embodiments, the position of the 3-D scanning device relative to the 3-D surface of the dentition can be determined in real time by comparing the size and the shape of the overlap to the cross-section of the field-of-view of the 3-D scanning device, where the size and the shape of the overlap of the newly acquired 3-D image is used to determine the distance and the angles from which the 3-D image was acquired relative to the 3-D surface of the dentition.

摘要: A method for forming a surgical guide for a dental patient rotates material about a rotation axis to a first angular position and drills a drill guiding hole using a drilling tool having a drilling tool axis. A hole pattern is formed having two or more positioning holes in the first surface, with the pattern corresponding to a pin pattern in a tray that is positionally registered to a dental arch of the patient. A second planar surface of the surgical guide is formed, parallel to the first planar surface.
