Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to multiplex an SCI-exclusive message with a data-exclusive message/traffic. In one aspect, a first UE multiplexes SCI with a PSSCH in a slot, the SCI being associated with a control message and the PSSCH being associated with a data message, and the SCI including an indication that the SCI and the PSSCH are decoupled in the slot. The first UE transmits, to a second UE, the SCI and the PSSCH in the slot. In another aspect, a second UE receives, from a first UE, SCI and a PSSCH in a slot, the SCI being associated with a control message and the PSSCH being associated with a data message, and the SCI including an indication that the SCI and the PSSCH are decoupled in the slot. The second UE decodes the data message based at least in part on the indication.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for acquiring location information of an assisting node, such as an assisting transmission and reception point (TRP). The location information may include geographical location information as well as spatial information. The location information may be used to facilitate positioning and other purposes, such as beam management, interference management, and sensing between one or more assisting TRPs and one or more network entities (e.g., a gNodeB (gNB), a user equipment (UE), a central unit (CU), or a distributed unit (DU)). To achieve these purposes, accurate locations of the assisting TRPs are needed. The present disclosure provides techniques for acquiring and exchanging the accurate location information of such assisting TRPs.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an apparatus of a user equipment (UE) may transmit, over an unlicensed carrier, an initial transmission of a transport block (TB) satisfying a condition and an indication that a retransmission of the TB will be communicated over a licensed carrier. The apparatus may retransmit the TB over the licensed carrier based at least in part on a failure of the transmission of the TB over the unlicensed carrier. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating a dynamically scheduled transmission that overwrites a transmission in a semi-static scheduling occasion. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first control message, activating a first semi-static scheduling configuration and a second semi-static scheduling configuration for full duplex communication, wherein: the first semi-static scheduling configuration comprises a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasion and the second semi-static scheduling configuration comprises a configured grant (CG) occasion. The method may further include receiving a second control message dynamically scheduling a transmission that overwrites a downlink transmission in the SPS occasion or an uplink transmission in the CG occasion and taking one or more actions to communicate at least the transmission that overwrites the downlink transmission in the SPS occasion or the uplink transmission in the CG occasion.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one of a transmission profile, of an application executing on the UE, that indicates whether sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) is required, or a sidelink communication that indicates whether sidelink DRX is supported. The UE may communicate with one or more other UEs in accordance with a configuration for sidelink DRX, or with sidelink DRX disabled, based at least in part on the transmission profile or the sidelink communication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit information indicating a set of resources associated with periodic sidelink monitoring, the information indicating at least one first period of time during which the UE will remain awake and monitor for signals and at least one second period of time during which the UE will be in a sleep mode and not monitoring for signals. The UE may monitor for signals using at least one resource indicated by the information and during the at least one first period of time. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information for configuring a plurality of semi-persistent resources for a plurality of UEs, the plurality of semi-persistent resources including one or more semi-persistent resources configured for the first UE. The UE may receive an indication to activate the plurality of semi-persistent resources across the plurality of UEs. The UE may communicate, based at least in part on the indication, using the one or more semi-persistent resources. Numerous other aspects are described.
