摘要: There is provided a technology which can improve the mounting posture of a liquid ejection apparatus when mounted to a liquid container. The liquid container is flexible and includes a storage portion configured to store the liquid and a connection member. The connection member is provided with a liquid outlet which is inserted with a liquid introduction portion, a container-side electrical connector which makes electrical contact with an apparatus-side electrical connection unit while receive at least +Z direction force from the apparatus-side electrical connection unit, a first receiver configured to receive a first positioning portion, a second receiver configured to receive a second positioning portion, and a recess which houses a protrusion of the case. The recess and the container-side electrical connector are formed at positions which at least partially overlap each other when viewed from a Z direction in a mounting state. In the mounting state, the width of the liquid container in the Z directions is larger than the width in the Y directions and the width in the X directions.

摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus that the throughput until a start of a recording operation in the structure in which an ink is circulated between a recording head and an ink tank includes the recording head which discharges the ink to perform a recording operation, the ink tank which stores the ink, and a buffer chamber having a volume which is changed according to a pressure. When the inkjet recording apparatus is changed from a circulation state in which a supply pump and a collection pump are driven to circulate the ink between the recording head and the ink tank to a pause state in which the driving of the supply pump and the collection pump is stopped to stop the circulation of the ink, a negative pressure due to a change in the volume of the buffer chamber is maintained.

摘要: Techniques for more accurately and efficiently replicating the alignment of one or more printer components with respect to another printer component are described herein. Replication may be achieved by using a fixture and a connection media to create a near exact replica of features of the fixture, or to temporarily hold multiple printer components in position while a joining layer of the connection media hardens. More specifically, a connection media, such as epoxy, can be used to fill an intentionally-established gap between connecting bodies or components that are held in a predetermined position by the replication fixture. The replication fixture represents a mechanical mounting interface that influences the position of a print head (or an array of print heads) within a printer housing or printing mechanism. Joining printer components in such a manner enables a stable mechanical coupling to be formed that does not require post operations.
