    摘要: A receptacle assembly includes multiple receptacle guide frames configured to be coupled to a host board. Each receptacle guide frame has a front end and a back end. A receptacle extends from the front end to the back end of each receptacle guide frame. Each receptacle has an open end positioned at the front end of the receptacle guide frame and a closed end positioned at the back end of the receptacle guide frame. Each receptacle guide frame is configured to be aligned with an opening in a panel so that the receptacle is accessible through the opening. A host board connector is positioned at the closed end of each receptacle. Each host board connector includes a mating face. Each receptacle guide frame is aligned with the opening in the panel so that the mating face of each host board connector is positioned at a non-orthogonal angle with respect to the panel.

    摘要: A reconfigurable polarity detachable connector assembly includes a housing defining two accommodation channels and providing a springy protruding member at a top side, two mating simplex connectors respectively detachably mounted in the accommodation channels of the housing, a fiber optic cable fastened to the housing with two optical fiber cores thereof respectively inserted into respective calibration support rods of the mating simplex connectors, and a sliding cap slidably coupled to the housing. The sliding cap is unlocked and can be moved backwardly relative to the housing to expose the optical fiber cores of the fiber optic cable to the outside of the housing for allowing position exchange between the two mating simplex connectors after the user presses the springy protruding member.

    摘要: An audio jack connector comprises an insulative housing having a mating face and a soldering face, at least one hollow cylinder extending from the mating face and defining a recess therein. A passageway is defined in an inner wall of each cylinder for receiving a contact which projects into the recess for electrically contacting an inserted plug. A retaining member comprises a first hook and a second hook extending from the mating face of the housing. A grounding member comprises a metal base from which at least one metal tube extends for mating with and enclosing the corresponding cylinder of the housing, wherein the metal base is sized to be retainable between the first hook and the second hook of the retaining means and the mating face of the housing.

    摘要: An electrical connector system is provided for electrically coupling a plurality of conductors with a printed circuit board. The system includes a main housing for mounting on one side of the printed circuit board, the board having an IC chip on the opposite side thereof. Main terminals are mounted on the main housing for coupling the conductors to circuits of the printed circuit board. A unitary secondary housing is adapted for mounting on the opposite side of the printed circuit board and includes an integral shield portion for covering the IC chip and providing electrostatic discharge protection therefor. Apertures are provided in the shield portion to allow for cooling of the IC chip. The unitary secondary housing includes at least one integral header portion defining a receptacle for receiving a complementary electrical connector. Terminals are mounted in the secondary housing and have contact means located in the receptacle for interengagement with contacts of the complementary electrical connector and tails for interengagement with circuit traces on the printed circuit board.

    摘要: A shielding cage assembly includes a mating end surface and at least one group of stacked mating spaces. The mating spaces stacked in a same group are communicated at a rear of the shielding cage assembly to form a receiving space for accommodating a receptacle connector. The shielding cage assembly further includes an accommodating space between two adjacent mating spaces. The accommodating space extends through two opposite outer side walls of the shielding cage assembly. One side of the accommodating space extends through the mating end surface, and another side of the accommodating space extends to the receiving space. The shielding cage assembly is easy to assemble a heat dissipation member and has good heat dissipation performance. A receptacle connector assembly having the shielding cage assembly is also disclosed.
