Abstract: The present invention describes a method for the treatment of tall oil pitch (TOP), said method comprising heating the TOP and optionally additives including water and steam to a temperature of at least 300° C.; maintaining the temperature in the reactor at 300° C. or higher for a period of time to enable thermal treatment of the TOP to act on components thereof to produce fatty acids and/or rosin acids, and/or derivatives thereof, and/or unsaponifiables and/or derivatives having lower molecular weight compared to the high molecular weight components with molecular weights of at least 350 g/mole present in the original TOP, to yield a modified TOP material with lower viscosity.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for producing a clean gasoline and a system for producing the same, the method includes: a full range gasoline is subjected to a directional sulfur transfer reaction, then is cut to obtain a light gasoline fraction, a medium gasoline fraction and a heavy gasoline fraction; the light gasoline fraction is treated to obtain an esterified light gasoline; the medium gasoline fraction is treated to obtain a raffinate oil and an extracted oil; the raffinate oil is treated to obtain an esterified medium gasoline; the heavy gasoline fraction is mixed with the extracted oil to obtain a mixed oil, and a one-stage hydrodesulfurization reaction, a two-stage hydrodesulfurization reaction, H2S-removal and a hydrocarbon isomerization/aromatization reaction are carried out successively to obtain a treated heavy gasoline; blending the esterified light gasoline, the esterified medium gasoline and the treated heavy gasoline to obtain a clean gasoline.

Abstract: A system is described that includes a pyrolyzer and a primary condenser. The primary condenser is coupled to the pyrolyzer and configured to receive pyrolytic vapors from the pyrolyzer. The primary condenser is further configured to condense the pyrolytic vapors by contacting the pyrolytic vapors with a condensing liquid, to form a bio-oil component mixture having multiple separated phases. At least a portion of the condensing liquid includes a component that is extracted as a separated stable phase from a second bio-oil component mixture resulting from a prior pyrolysis cycle.

Abstract: A microwave reactor includes a chamber, at least one microwave source, a sprayer and a vapor extractor. The chamber includes a containing space and a reacting space. The containing space is communicated with the reacting space and provided for containing a reactant. The microwave source is connected to one side wall of the reacting space of the chamber. The sprayer is communicated with the containing space of the chamber for turning the reactant into a mist and spraying the mist in the reacting space of the chamber. The vapor extractor is connected to the reacting space. When the water contained in the mist is gasified to produces a water vapor, the water vapor can be exhausted from the chamber by the vapor extractor.
