Abstract: Provided is a binding machine used to erect a post and bind a stem or branch of a plant to the post to enable the stem or branch to maintain a desired posture during the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, or flowers or gardening. The binding machine is configured not to allow an operating lever to be moved down when a binding tape is hooked to a tape pulling needle to prevent an erroneous operation while the binding tape is being drawn out and configured to prevent an iron pin bundle from being loaded upside down onto an iron pin supply part and to prevent an iron pin push bar from arbitrarily escaping the iron pin supply part and being lost when the iron pin push bar is separated from the iron pin supply part.

Abstract: A cutting implement for use with a hammer tacker is provided comprising an elongated plate for attaching to an elongated top surface of the hammer tacker; a pair of side walls extending upwardly from each side of the elongated plate and forming a slot for receiving a cutting blade; and an actuator for moving the cutting blade from a retracted position to an extended position through the slot such that when the cutting blade is in the extended position, a portion of the cutting blade extends past a front end of the hammer tacker without significantly obscuring a side to side sight line of the hammer tacker; whereby the elongated plate is sized and shaped such that when the elongated plate is attached to the elongated top surface it does not substantially increase the side to side dimensions of the hammer tacker.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a system and/or method for installing a tracking fastener using a fastener insertion device. The fastener insertion device may include a handle and a fastener receiver. The handle may form a receiving chamber therein. The receiving chamber may receive, during use, tracking fasteners within. The tracking fasteners may include an antenna at least partially positioned in a proximal end of the plastic tracking fastener including a first end or a first and a second end extending out of the proximal end of the tracking fastener. The fastener receiver may include a striker, a diverter, a router, and a tapered reverse angle guide. The diverter, guide (e.g., router, tapered reverse angle guide), and a designed striker may position, during use, the antenna around the driver mechanism and away from the striker tip. The striker inserts the fastener into a substrate without damage to the antenna.

Abstract: In accordance with one aspect, an applicator is provided for applying staple fasteners to an end of a conveyor belt. The applicator provides advancing, clenching, staple driving, and final set operations that are coordinated by a drive of the applicator. In one form, the drive includes a cam plate and the applicator includes a handle that may be pivoted to turn the cam plate through a range of motion. Turning of the cam plate causes cam followers received in cam paths of the cam plate to shift and operate the mechanisms of the applicator. A method of using an applicator to apply conveyor belt fasteners is also provided.

Abstract: A hammer tacker includes a body having a nail track, an operation assembly and a strike plate. The operation assembly drives the strike plate to eject the nails. The operation assembly includes an operation unit which has a passive end to drive a resilient member located above the nail track. The resilient member provides the operation assembly a force to return to its initial position. The resilient member has one end mounted to a positioning member which has an insertion inserted into one end of the resilient member, and a flange extends outward from one end of the insertion. The flange has an end face contacts the passive end of the operation unit so as to ensure the resilient member to be operated in a horizontal direction.

Abstract: A staple gun includes: a casing having a front blocking surface; a magazine disposed in the casing; and a staple delivery element and a resilient element disposed at the magazine. The magazine includes at least a staple cutting portion each having a top surface, a front end surface, and a guiding surface connected between the top surface and the front end surface. The front end surface and the guiding surface face the front blocking surface. A clearance for passing staples is disposed between the front end surface and the front blocking surface. The staple delivery element pushes staples in the magazine in a staple delivering direction. The resilient element enables staples to push the front end surface and the guiding surface of the staple cutting portion of the magazine, such that the magazine moves relative to the casing in a clearance adjustment direction opposite to the staple delivering direction.

Abstract: A fastening tool assembly is provided with a housing having a contact surface to contact a workpiece. A magazine is mounted in the housing to store fasteners and to convey the fasteners to a fastener outlet. A knife is mounted in the housing for translation between a latched position and a release position to drive a fastener from the magazine through the outlet during translation to the release position. Abstract: A tacker includes a first arm pivotably connected to the body by a first pin and a second arm is pivotably connected to the body by a second pin. The first end of the second arm is movable along the underside of the first arm. A shaft is connected to the second end of the second arm and between two hook plates which are detachably hooked to a resilient plate which is connected with a push plate. The first arm is pivoted downward about the first pin while the second arm is pushed by the first arm and pivoted about the second pin. The hook plates lift the resilient plate, and are then disengaged from the resilient plate to release the push plate to eject staples. The first and second arms respectively perform two different leverage actions to save the users' efforts.
