Abstract: A novel compact work desk assembly which is completely contained within a single locking enclosure. The assembly includes a chair with a fold-down backrest, multiple drawers contained within a drawer assembly, at least two extendible work surfaces, and at least two footrests. The chair rests atop the drawer assembly which is slidably disposed within the enclosure. Since the seat is supported by the drawer assembly, virtually no extra space is required inside the enclosure to store the seat. Additional space saving is achieved by having the drawer assembly slide out of the enclosure in a first direction, with the individual drawers opening in the opposite direction. The footrest support has at least two footrest bars so that users of different height can be accommodated.

Abstract: An easel cart has wheels and shelves which are open on two sides. Opposed U-shaped channels extend vertically on each open side and are adapted to receive collapsed easel doors. An easel door is folded into each set of easel door guides when the unit is not being used and in storage. Each easel door has two easel boards connected by a flexible hinge. The easel doors prevent access to the cart interior when stored in the channels and may be removed from the cart to serve as portable easels. Abstract: A display board attachment used by machinists in machine shops includes a display board pivotally mounted by posts on a tool box. Abstract: A drawing table is provided, which has a top hingedly connected at a first end thereof, to a first end of a base, so as to be pivotable between a closed position, and at least one open position with respect to the base. At least one arm, and preferably a pair of arms, are provided, which are movable to an unextended position when the top is in the closed position and in which the arm or arms lies substantially parallel to the top and the base, and one or more extended positions. Abstract: A drafting table is disclosed in the specification that has a drafting board supported on a desk for vertical movement. The board is supported on a yoke having vertically extending legs connected to a counterbalance and locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is made up of two upwardly extending rods each fixed to a side of the table adjacent one of the legs on the yoke. Each leg has a helical spring which slides on one of the rods and may be moved relative to the rod to lock the leg from sliding, thereby locking the board in the desired vertical position. A counterbalance mechanism made up of two energy cells is supported at each side of the table and interconnected by two concentric tubes which restrain the two energy cells to exert a force on the legs of the yoke which will move the yoke in translation.
