    摘要: A float controlled valve has a chamber and a first diaphragm forming a part of the chamber walls; a passage admits liquid from the valve inlet to the chamber; a second diaphragm forms a further part of the chamber walls and has a bleed-off passage which may be closed by action of the float; pressure build up in the chamber acts on the first diaphragm to close the valve; the pressure build up also acts on the second diaphragm to deflect the bleed off passage and so depress the float below the liquid surface when the valve closes; a sharp pointed and reduced diameter entrance to the passage at the valve inlet reduces blockage likelyhood; a helix on the float actuated means for closing the bleed-off passage provides facility for adjustments.

    摘要: A fluid pressure logic valve device for producing an output signal of limited duration, regardless of the duration of the input signal, by utilizing the drop in pressure characteristic of fluid pressure flowing through a constricted opening, such constriction, through which supply pressure for the output signal flows, being formed by the proximity of an adjacent side of a valve member to a cooperating valve seat, the valve member being subjected on the opposite side, at a controlled rate, to the same fluid pressure supplied for the output signal. As the pressure acting on the opposite side of the valve member tends to approach or exceed the differential pressure value between the upstream and downstream areas of the constriction and acting on the one side of the valve member, said valve member tends to close, thereby further constricting the flow path, further reducing the set fluid pressure acting on said one side of the valve member, and thus causing positive seating of said valve member to cut off the output signal. Continuance and duration of the input signal is of no consequence once the valve member is in its cut-off position.

    摘要: A membrane operated, pilot actuated, normally open two way shutoff valve having a pilot cap permanently secured to the valve housing, and a membrane separating piloting section from the valving section and held securely by a pilot cap at it''s periphery while the central portion is allowed to stretch under pilot pressure and to close fluid valving passages inside valve housing when controlling flows of any fluid requiring straight through flow passages with minimum pressure drop, including positive support for stretched membrane inside valve housing which is provided with appropriate seat of conical configuration to permit membrane elastic deformation within confines of such housing cone and not more, and thus drastically changing the operation and life span of similar valves with unsupported elastomers as found in most diaphragm valves, with membrane providing simplicity and operational improvements, and the Memrane Shutoff Valve permitting flexibility in use no other designs can provide,such as multiporting valve housing for single fluid inlet port and multiple outlet ports running radially into the conical housing chamber or even being converted to a positive displacement pump by an addition of appropriate check valves into the valve ports, and flexibility in selecting seal and valve body materials compatible with corrosive fluids valved while the pilot cap may remain the same.

    摘要: A diaphragm valve having an annular valve seat and a spaced opposed valve assembly comprising a fabric-reinforced elastic diaphragm capsule molded around a metal supporting disc. Low pressure fluid is selectively introduced within the elastic capsule to resiliently expand the capsule toward the valve seat. The elastic capsule is reinforced around the circumference of the disc edge by a layer of tire cord fabric which permits a hemispherical expansion of the capsule without permitting a destructive stretching of the capsule in this region.
