摘要： A paddle latch having a pan with a well, a paddle handle, a handle pivot, a rotary latch portion, and a trigger arm arrangement. The paddle handle pivot has a pin that non-rotatably engages with the paddle handle to pivotally attach the paddle handle in the well of the pan and has a pin trigger. The rotary latch portion has a housing containing a rotary hook with a mouth, a rotary trigger, and pin trigger cam. The rotary trigger retains the rotary hook in either an open position where the mouth of the rotary hook is accessible from outside of the housing, or semi-closed or completely closed positions, where the mouth is blocked by the housing. The trigger arm arrangement is adapted to transfer of pivotal movement of the paddle handle to the rotary trigger to release the rotary hook from the semi-closed position or the completely closed position to its open position. Only when the rotary hook is in the semi-closed position will the paddle handle be automatically partially tilted out from the well of the pan.

摘要： A device attachable to a key that allows an individual with limited dexterity to handle the key and use it according to its ordinary function. The device provides a Y-shaped handle, such as that structured by a section of antler, that attaches to a key and provides each of the geometric and structural requirements necessary for the user to pick up the key from a flat surface, insert the key into a lock or switch aperture, and turn the key once inserted. The Y-shaped component is curved across its height dimension and provides a yoke engagement structure to permit holding the device with key to exert a force sufficient to insert the key into a lock or switch, and by a combination of forces exerted by the palm or back of the hand and the thumb, to rotate the key/device combination in order to activate the lock or switch.

Thus, a user needs not to worry that pocket of his or her clothing will be hooked and damaged by the cylinder column.

摘要： This invention provides a combined fashion accessory and key. The fashion accessory includes a decorative head having front and back sides, an elongate shaft having first and second opposed ends. The first end of the elongate shaft is attached to the back side of the decorative head, and an elongate bar is pivotally connected to the second end of the elongate shaft. The elongate bar has at least one key feature at a first end thereof so that the elongate bar is a key. When the elongate bar is longitudinally aligned with said elongate shaft in a second locking position, the decorative head, in combination with the elongate shaft and the elongate bar provides a key functionality such that when the key feature is inserted into a lock and a user grips a grippable peripheral portion of the decorative head and rotates it, torque is applied to the elongate bar thus rotating it and the key feature to unlock the lock.

摘要： A locking system is set forth having a key and a lock cylinder. The lock cylinder has a cylinder core journalled in a housing and having a keyway for inserting the key. A plurality of tumblers actuable by the key and an additional blocking element movably arranged in a guide passage of the cylinder core project into the keyway, said additional blocking element being displaceable obliquely or transversely to the direction of insertion of the key. The additional blocking element is made for cooperation with a counter-element arranged at the key blade with a key introduced up to the maximum insertion depth. The counter-element is in this respect arranged in a groove or recess starting from the key tip and extending in the longitudinal direction of the key blade.
