Abstract:
A closure arrangement for containers of the type comprising an annular upper wall (13) having an outer edge (13a) hermetically affixed to a lateral wall (11) of the container, and an inner edge (13b) defining an upper opening (14) to be closed by a lid (20), which comprises a peripheral wall (22) externally provided with a first and a second circumferential groove (23, 24) and an annular flange (25), incorporating a pending circumferential projection (26), said lid (20) being mounted in a first closing position, in which the inner edge (13b) is fitted in the first circumferential groove (23) defining a first sealing region and the pending circumferential projection (26) is fitted in the circumferential recess (16) defining therein a second sealing region, said lid (20) being mounted in a second closing position, after the first opening, in which the inner edge (13b) is fitted in the second circumferential groove (24), retaining the latter and defining therein a third sealing region.
Abstract:
A food serving tray assembly includes a serving platter and a receptacle platter. The serving platter includes a disposal opening and serving wells for receiving food items. The receptacle platter and serving platter releasable couple to one another in a serving configuration and a transport configuration. An improvement includes the serving platter having an outer peripheral wall having a first height and dividing walls defining and separating the serving wells, each of the dividing walls being approximately equal to the first height. The peripheral wall of the receptacle platter has a third height and a bottom of the receptacle platter defines a plurality of dividers having a fourth height substantially less than the third height. When the serving platter is received within the receptacle platter, each of the dividers aligns with and engages a respective dividing wall such that two wells are isolated and seated off from one another.

A food serving tray assembly includes a serving platter and a receptacle platter. The serving platter includes a disposal opening and serving wells for receiving food items. The receptacle platter and serving platter releasably couple to one another in a serving configuration and a transport configuration. An improvement includes the serving platter having an outer peripheral wall and a plurality of dividing walls defining and separating adjacent serving wells; and the serving platter being generally received within the outer peripheral wall of the receptacle platter with the bottom of the receptacle platter and the dividing walls of the serving platter collectively isolating the wells from one another when the food serving tray assembly is in the transport configuration.
Abstract:
A grip device may be useable on a top or bottom portion of a container having a larger top than bottom portion. The grip device, when positioned on the bottom portion of the container, may reduce slipping with an adjacent surface and, when positioned on the top portion of the container, may facilitate stacking of containers. The grip device may include a body of resilient material. The body of resilient material may include a grip base including spaced apart inner and outer base portions defining a slotted base opening therebetween being sized to resiliently engage the top portion of the container, an outer wall extending upwardly from the outer base portion, and an inner wall extending upwardly from the inner base portion and joining with the outer wall adjacent upper ends thereof. The inner wall may define an opening to resiliently engage the bottom portion of the container.
Abstract:
A serving platter includes a main body and a shallow lid. The main body portion includes a top portion defining a serving area comprising a plurality of primary serving wells for receiving food items therein for presentation to a person for eating, and a bottom portion defining a substantially enclosed interior space. The top portion also defines a disposal opening configured to receive there through food waste for deposit into the substantially enclosed interior space. The top portion also includes a plurality of dividing walls that define and separate the primary serving wells. The shallow lid is configured to be removably coupled to the main body such that the lid is positioned above and extends over and seats off the serving area. Each dividing wall is engaged by the lid such that two serving wells are isolated from one another by a dividing wall engaged with the lid.

Abstract:
Containers, lids, and sleeve structures are disclosed. Particularly, sleeve structures configured for insulating, stabilizing, or both insulating and stabilizing a container are disclosed. Further, a sleeve structure including a plurality of circumferentially adjacent, longitudinally extending sections and a sleeve structure including one or more frustoconical regions are disclosed. Containers, lids, and sleeve structures including at least one stabilizing feature are disclosed. Assemblies including a lower container, associated lid and sleeve structure, wherein at least one of the lower container, the lid, or the sleeve structure includes at least one stabilizing feature for engaging at least a portion of a sleeve structure associated with an upper container, wherein the upper container is positioned longitudinally above and is substantially aligned or centered with respect to a lower container, are disclosed. Circumferentially separated stabilizing features, individually installable stabilizing features, integral stabilizing features, and removable stabilizing features are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A paint can system including a paint can, a lid and a sealing ring having a sealing ridge that is insertable into the lid ridge receiving channel of the rim assembly of the paint can. The sealing ring includes a brush wiping flange that has an outer flange edge that defines an opening through which the paint brush can be loaded with paint when the sealing flange is installed. The sealing ring is adapted such that the lid of the paint can is seatable, in an upside down orientation, onto the sealing ring to cover the opening through the sealing ring to seal the paint can.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a film canister with an invertible cap having a first side and a symmetrical second side. Each side has oppositely facing circular engagement channels and are each engageable with a body portion that is sized for receiving and containing a roll of film. The first side and second side each have indicia indicative of "EXPOSED" and "UNEXPOSED" respectively to provide a convenient means of identifying the status of a roll of film contained in the canister. The cap is simply engaged on the body portion with the appropriate indicia displayed.
Abstract:
A storage container which includes a base within which is defined a storage compartment. A lid is to be connectable with the base closing the storage compartment to the ambient. The lid is bulbous so that relative to the storage compartment it can be located in a concave position decreasing the size of the storage compartment or a convex position increasing the size of the storage compartment. This reversibility of the lid can be achieved by constructing the lid so as to actually be physically reversible or also by having the lid to be physically deflectable from the convex position to the concave position.
