    摘要: An automobile door is provided with a glass run that seals a peripheral part of a door glass which moves up and down. A garnish is mounted along a door frame on a vehicle-interior side thereof. The glass run includes an extension wall portion formed to extend from an end of a vehicle-interior side wall portion in a molded part of a corner portion thereof, and a catching portion that is formed in the vicinity of an inner peripheral side end part of the extension wall portion to extend to protrude into a vehicle-interior and that is caught on a folded portion of the garnish. The extension wall portion includes a deforming portion configured to be thinner than a general part of the extension wall portion.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a corner connecting portion for a sealing gasket of a motor vehicle window glass, the gasket forming a window glass run channel of the hidden frame type. It is designed to connect a top segment to an ascending segment of the glass run channel, and it comprises: an upper part comprising an upper face designed to be sealingly mounted under the vehicle bodywork and a lower face designed to be mounted on said pillar by mounting means, and a lower part which is connected to the upper part by forming a “⊂” designed to surround an outer end of said pillar and which is designed to be sealingly in contact with the window glass. The mounting means comprise a pin which is inserted into a corresponding through hole formed in the upper part so as to extend from the upper face to the lower face, the pin being pushed through a pillar opening in an assembly position, to minimize the displacements of the gasket in response to ageing and fatigue cycles due to slams of the door.

    摘要: An appendage (7) is molded onto a glazing profile (3) provided around the periphery of a pane of glass (2), the process comprising advancing a mold (20) into sealing contact with an appropriate part of the profile, introducing a predetermined quantity of polymer material (39) into a mold cavity (40), and allowing the polymer material to bond to the glazing profile. The pane of glass remains outside the mold cavity, and is preferably not contacted by the mold. The polymer material may be thermosetting or thermoplastic, and is preferably introduced into the mold cavity while the mold is open. The material may be poured if it is in a fluid condition, or, if it is thermoplastic, it may be introduced in the form of a preformed piece (50) which is superficially melted to bond it to the glazing profile. The process is suitable for molding sharp corners onto extruded profiles on vehicle glazings (1).
