    摘要： The rotary cultivator enables an operator to cultivate an area immediately adjacent to (for example) perennial plants. The cultivator is a tractor-mounted tool with an articulated boom. A rotary cultivator head is disposed at a distal end of the boom so that a tractor operator can manipulate the boom and attached cultivator head through a full range of motions. The cultivator head includes a rotary disk with two essentially identical blade assemblies. Each blade assembly has a short blade that rotates within the periphery of the disk, and a long blade that extends beyond the periphery of the disk. The long blade has an extended segment that is flexible and elastic so that when the long blade extended segment contacts the stalk/trunk of a perennial plant, the extended segment elastically deforms so that the stalk/trunk is not damaged.

    摘要： Power equipment widely used in commercial, residential and recreational settings comprises a host implement and a demountable motor. The host implement has a working piece dedicated to a single task. The host implement has a frame, a mounting block secured to the frame, a driven shaft connected to the frame with a working piece connected to one terminus and a self-locating and locking coupler on the other terminus. The demountable motor has a drive shaft with a second self-locating and locking coupler on its terminus. When the demountable motor is positioned on the host implement, the respective couplers mechanically mate so that a power from the demountable motor can be transferred to the working piece. The demountable motor is capable of being used on any one of several different host implements, all designed for performing different work tasks.

    摘要： An apparatus for high volume in-situ treatment of contaminated soil is a mobile vehicle with a chain trenching tool an excavator drums attached to the idler wheel to extend the width of soil cutting and increase the volume of soil being churned and treated in-situ. The drums may be arranged both for clock-wise and counter clock-wise rotation, and oriented to provide vertical lifting and swirling of the soil. The apparatus may include a hood disposed over the cutting drums to define a remediation chamber with ports for injecting high temperature air or chemical or biological remediation fluid into the soil. In a preferred embodiment, the hood has internal partitions that create a vapor recovery chamber outboard of the drums.

    摘要： A soil preparation-for-planting tool which has a drive motor with a rotatable portion including a central shaft with a distal cutting end, with the central shaft further having secured therewith an outwardly extending support to which is affixed one blade only, adapted to engage soil as it traverses around a central axis defined by the central shaft to divert into a central area soil, with the output shaft adapted to enter the soil first to locate dig and maintain the position of the shaft at a center of a proposed planting hole. The output shaft has toward its outer end one blade secured to rotate with the output shaft so as to effect a breaking of soil as it is rotated through the soil. The blade is of a shape and at an angle such that it will enter into soil by being rotated therethrough but upon being withdrawn, will be adapted to readily shed any soil.

Lines of cross-perforations are formed in the overlying webs at longitudinally spaced intervals, and the edge portions of the webs are bonded or welded together across or adjacent each line of cross-perforations by a plurality of transversely extending impressions of intermeshing fibers which prevents relative longitudinal shifting of the webs when the webs are zig-zag folded before the glue sets. Preferably, the impressions are located at the fine longitudinal glue lines joining the paper webs to provide fast drying of the glue.
