    摘要: An ink cartridge contains an outer package, an ink container within the outer package, and sheet bodies attached to an outer surface of the outer package, and is attachable to and detachable from a printing device. Small pieces are formed by cuts in the outer package. The small pieces include breakable sections, and the bendable sections. Sheet bodies cover a portion of the small pieces. Pressing on a small piece with a finger breaks the breakable section, and bends the bendable section to press them inside the outer package. A portion of the sheet body then shifts upwards so that the sheet body can be grasped with fingers and peeled away from the outer package. Disassembly and sorting of used cartridges in this way becomes easier.

    摘要: An image processing apparatus performs operations including: when a density value of a black component in uncorrected monochrome image data corresponding to each of pure colors including primary colors and secondary colors in color image data is lower than a reference density value, the uncorrected monochrome image data being obtained by a monochrome conversion from the color image data to monochrome image data, determining a correction content for correcting the density value of the black component in the uncorrected monochrome image data corresponding to at least each of the pure colors out of the pure colors and peripheral colors of the pure colors in a color space to a value equal to or higher than the reference density value; and obtaining corrected monochrome image data in which correction based on the determined correction content is reflected in the uncorrected monochrome image data.

    摘要: An image processing method comprising: converting an RGB input signal to a CMYK signal; converting the RGB input signal to a common color signal including lightness; generating a first Gray signal including a Gray value substituted for CMY values forming gray in the CMYK signal; generating a second Gray signal including a Gray value corresponding to a K value greater than a threshold in the CMYK signal; generating a Gray output signal in a CMYKGray output signal indicating color material amounts of cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y), black (K), and gray (Gray) for printing by multiplying the generated first Gray signal and the generated second Gray signal respectively by coefficients corresponding to the lightness in the common color signal and then synthesizing the first Gray signal and the second Gray signal.
