摘要: The present invention pertains to a solvent based coating composition comprising A) at least one toner base comprising an acrylic polyol, a cellulose resin, a polyester polyol, and a pigment, B) at least one connector base comprising at least one resin compatible with the resins mentioned in toner base A), and C) at least one reducer base free of resins and pigments. It has been found that the coating composition of the present invention does not have drawbacks such as insufficient hiding, a high sensitivity for cloudiness, and a loss of brightness or color. Such drawbacks are often found in base coat compositions. Furthermore, the coating composition of the present invention provides a very flexible application window. Due to a selection of resins, additives, and/or fillers to be used in the connector base (B), the use and properties of the coating composition of the present invention can be modified. For example, an interior coating may be prepared from the coating composition of the present invention with excellent properties such as gloss level and scratch resistance.

摘要: The invention relates to a process to produce brine of improved purity wherein a salt source, contaminated with sulphate ions and alkaline (earth) metal ions, is dissolved in water in the presence of an effective amount of a retarding agent comprising at least one low and at least one high molecular weight retarding agent. Said retarding agent effectively reduces the level of the alkaline (earth) metal sulphate dissolved in the brine, particularly the amount of calcium and sulphate. Preferably, the combination of the low and high molecular weight retarding agents is synergetic in the reduction of dissolved alkaline-earth metal sulphate.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for titration comprising guiding a sample to be titrated through a conduit, adding a reagent to said conduit at at least two entrance positions along said conduit in such a manner that said reagent will react with the sample within at least one individual sector of the conduit, defined as the space between two consecutive entrance positions or a final individual sector defined between a final entrance position and a sample exit point of the conduit, while at least one detection device positioned at the end of each sector of said conduit register the chemical and/or physical status. A pressure difference is provided between the reagent delivery device and the sample conduit such that the pressure difference measured between the reagent delivery device and the end of the final individual sector is controlled to be greater than the total pressure drop between the sample delivery point and the end of the final individual sector. The invention further relates to an arrangement for carrying out said method.
