    Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein increasing a likelihood above a target threshold of a user watching a target media asset. The method includes selecting a target media asset, identifying a media attribute present in the target media asset that does not match a user profile, computing a percentage of the media attribute present in the target media asset relative to other media attributes present in the target media asset, searching for a first media asset that comprises a first amount of the media attribute less than the percentage by a first threshold. Upon determining that the user consumes the first media asset, repeating the process with a second media asset that comprises a second amount of the media attribute greater than the first threshold and less than the percentage by a second threshold. After the user consumes the second media asset, recommending the target media asset to the user.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for indicating an amount of available storage space. To this end, the systems and methods monitor storage space associated with a media storage device to determine whether an amount of storage space available is less than a threshold. In response to determining the amount of storage space available is less than the threshold, the systems and methods enter a deletion mode. Systems and methods monitor user interactions between a user and a user device after entering the deletion mode. Systems and methods further generate for display a notification at an appropriate time, based on the monitored user interactions, to indicate the amount of storage space available to the user.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for providing supplemental Augmented Reality (AR) content. Media content is provided to a user device located within a viewing area. A determination is made that a supplemental three dimensional (3D) AR content related to the media content is available. 3D characteristics of the supplemental AR content are determined. Such characteristics include a viewing angle and body position of an actor from the supplemental AR content. 3D characteristics of the viewing area are determined. Such characteristics include shape and position of the furniture within the viewing area and a position of a user within the viewing area. A position is determined within the viewing area by comparing the 3D characteristics of the supplemental AR content and the 3D characteristics of the viewing area. The supplemental AR content is then provided for display at the determined position.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for updating, using a specific process that reduces the resource requirements and ensures recommendation relevancy, a particular database that is used for recommending actors. A media guidance application may infrequently search a set of irrelevant actors for an actor who can be classified as a promising actor. The media guidance application may add any promising actor to a set of promising actors. The media guidance application may more frequently search the set of promising actors for an actor who can be classified as a relevant actor. Upon identifying a relevant actor, the media guidance application may include the relevant actor in a set of relevant actors. The media guidance application may then recommend actors to a user based on actors included in the set of relevant actors.
