Abstract: A configuration for self interference and cross link interference (CLI) management of bidirectional smart repeaters. The apparatus transmits, to a first wireless device, a measurement configuration to measure interference. The measurement configuration comprising a first measurement occasion and a second measurement occasion. The apparatus receives, from the first wireless device, a report of measured interference at the first wireless device based on the measurement configuration. Part of the measured interference under the first measurement occasion is based at least on transmissions forwarded by a relay node.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that indicates a set of frequency components for carrier aggregation and that indicates multiple sets of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) or sounding reference signals (SRSs), wherein different sets of CSI-RSs or SRSs, of the multiple sets of CSI-RSs or SRSs, correspond to different subsets of frequency components included in the set of frequency components. The UE may monitor for one or more CSI-RSs or SRSs, corresponding to a subset of frequency components included in the set of frequency components, based at least in part on the configuration. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive, from a base station, a common downlink control information (DCI) message indicating an update to a common beam which applies to a set of UEs, where for each UE of the set of UEs the common beam is shared across a set of channels, a set of reference signals, or both. The UE may receive, via the common DCI message, an indication of the set of UEs associated with the update to the common beam. The UE may then perform at least one beam switching procedure to update the common beam at the UE based on receiving the common DCI message and the UE being included within the set of UEs.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating uplink and downlink transmissions when a semi-statically configured scheduling occasion is overwritten by a slot format indicator. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a control message from a base station (BS) activating a semi-static scheduling configuration, wherein the semi-static scheduling configuration indicates a plurality of configured grant (CG) symbols in which the UE is scheduled to transmit at least one uplink transmission to the BS. The method may further include receiving, from the BS, a slot format indicator (SFI) that overwrites a subset of CG symbols of the plurality of CG symbols to be downlink symbols, and taking one or more actions to communicate at least one downlink transmission in the downlink symbols.

The method also includes transferring the data packet to lower layers of the protocol stack for transmission to a network device across a wireless network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method may involve a receiving device selecting a receive beam for receiving a signal from a transmitting device based on a relative direction of the transmit beam used to transmit the signal. A first wireless device may receive, from a second wireless device, an indication of a first angular range. The first angular range may be associated with a set of transmit beams for the second wireless device and correspond to at least two transmit beams of the set of transmit beams. The first wireless device may select a receive beam from a set of receive beams based on the first angular range and receive a reference signal, from the second wireless device, using the selected receive beam. The first device may also transmit channel information, to second wireless device, based on the reference signal.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may precode a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) sequence by applying a single discrete Fourier transform (DFT) to the PTRS sequence. The device may map the DFT precoded PTRS sequence to a subset of resources of a set of resources, and may transmit a signal carrying the DFT precoded PTRS sequence. Additionally or alternatively, the device may receive a signal that includes a DFT precoded PTRS sequence, demap the DFT precoded PTRS sequence to a subset of resources of a set of resources, decode the DFT precoded PTRS by applying a single inverse DFT (IDFT) to the DFT precoded PTRS sequence, estimate a phase error based on the decoding, and apply a phase error correction to a set of additional symbols associated with the signal based on the estimated phase error.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may perform a random access (RACH) procedure based on a selected synchronization signal block (SSB). During this RACH procedure, a base station may transmit physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) messages for UE RACH message handling. To receive PDCCH signaling for RACH Messages 2, 3, or 4 (Msg 2/3/4), the UE may identify a set of time resources used by the base station for transmitting SSBs that are not quasi-co-located (QCL) with the selected SSB. The UE may identify a Msg 2/3/4 search space that does not overlap with this identified set of resources, and may monitor this identified search space. The search space may correspond to a modified remaining minimum system information (RMSI) search space indicated by the base station, or a valid RMSI search space not indicated by the base station.
