Assuming the gradation-brightness characteristic of a first field as 1g, the gradation-brightness characteristic of a second field as 2g, and the gradation-brightness characteristic of a third field as 3g, the third field is set at an initial stage or at a final stage of the frame. Due to such setting, the moving image blurring can be effectively reduced up to the relatively high brightness.
