Abstract: A method for processing a packet on an SR network is provided, including: receiving a packet, where a packet header of the packet includes a destination address field, a first pointer, a second pointer, and a list used to process the packet, the list includes a plurality of sequentially arranged identifiers, and a value of the first pointer and a value of the second pointer jointly indicate a location of a first identifier in the plurality of identifiers in the list; determining the first identifier based on the value of the first pointer and the value of the second pointer; and copying the first identifier to the destination address field. In this method, a CL pointer is set in the packet header to jointly form a two-dimensional pointer with an SL pointer, to indicate a location of a C-SID in a SID list.

Abstract: This application provides a packet sending method. The method includes: receiving, by a first network device, a data packet, and encapsulating the data packet to obtain a first packet, where the first packet includes an IPv6 header, a bit index explicit replication BIER header, and the data packet, and some bits of a source IPv6 address field in the IPv6 header include identification information of a first tenant; and sending, by the first network device, the first packet to a second network device, where the identification information of the first tenant is used by the second network device to determine to send the data packet to an interface, corresponding to the first tenant, of the second network device.

Abstract: This application discloses a VXLAN packet transmission method, a network device, and a system. After receiving a first packet, a first network device obtains a VNI corresponding to the first packet. The first network device encapsulates the VNI in an IPV6 header by encapsulating the IPV6 header in the first packet, to obtain a second packet. The first network device sends the second packet to a second network device, so that the second network device forwards the packet based on the VNI included in the IPV6 header. In this application, the IPV6 header is used to carry the VNI, and no additional UDP header needs to be encapsulated to carry the VNI.

Abstract: A packet processing method implements a QoS guarantee. The method includes: obtaining a flow identification based on packet attribute information and a flow matching rule, generating a flow policy that includes a correspondence between the flow identification and a flow behavior, determining a forwarding path of a packet including the packet attribute information, sending the flow matching rule to an ingress device of the forwarding path, and sending the flow policy to a first network device on the forwarding path. The ingress device adds the flow identification to the packet including the packet attribute information, and sends the packet. The first network device receives the packet including the flow identification, obtains the flow behavior from the flow policy based on the flow identification, and processes the packet in a packet processing mode corresponding to the flow behavior.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a packet processing method, device, and system. The system includes: a controller, configured to: allocate a service label to a service processing manner of an FEC, establish a mapping relationship between the service label and the service processing manner, send the service label to a source node, and send the mapping relationship to a destination node; the source node, configured to: receive the service label sent by the controller, receive a first packet, insert the service label to the first packet to obtain a second packet, and send the second packet to the destination node; the destination node, configured to: receive the mapping relationship sent by the controller, receive the second packet sent by the source node, and pop the service label from the second packet according to the mapping relationship, to obtain the first packet.

Abstract: This application provides a route event record entry processing method, a network device, and a control device. The method includes: obtaining, by a network device, first information and second information that correspond to a route prefix, where the first information is used to indicate information about a first route policy for the route prefix, and the second information is used to indicate attribute information obtained after processing the route prefix by using the first route policy; and generating, by the network device, a route event record entry for the route prefix based on the first information and the second information, where the route event record entry includes the route prefix, the first information, and the second information.

Abstract: A network device creates a virtual border gateway protocol (BGP) peer and the BGP peer is enabled all BGP capability data configured in the network device. A BGP monitoring protocol (BMP) module of the network device acquires the enabled BGP capability by using a BGP message. According to the solution of the embodiment, the network device obtains all BGP capabilities configured in the network device and sends all the BGP capabilities to a monitoring server, so that the monitoring server can fully understand actual capability supported by the entire network, further providing an effective basis for deployment of and decision on the entire network.
