Abstract: A network device sends downlink control information to a first terminal device. The downlink control information includes: time domain resource information, where the time domain resource is a time domain resource on which a first data channel is located; and frequency domain resource information, where the frequency domain resources are a frequency domain resource on which the first data channel is located and a frequency domain resource on which a second data channel is located. The second data channel is located on a time domain resource different from the time domain resource on which the first data channel is located. The first terminal device receives, on the determined time domain resource and frequency domain resource, a signal that is located on the first data channel and that is from the network device.

Abstract: This application discloses a communication method and a communications apparatus. The method implemented by a terminal includes: determining a configuration mode of one or more pilots used for K repeated transmissions, where in a first configuration mode, the terminal device sends a same pilot in each of first N of the K repeated transmissions, and does not send a pilot in remaining K−N transmissions; in a second configuration mode, the terminal device sends a first pilot in first N of the K repeated transmissions, and sends a second pilot in the remaining K−N transmissions; and in the third configuration mode, the terminal device sends the first pilot in each transmission in a first round of K transmissions, and sends the second pilot in each transmission in a second round of K transmissions; and sending the pilots based on the determined configuration mode when performing the K repeated transmissions.

Abstract: An uplink transmission method includes obtaining control information useable for uplink transmission with dynamic scheduling, determining based on information about a first time-frequency resource allocated to the uplink transmission and configuration information of a first reference signal useable for the uplink transmission, a second time-frequency resource useable to send the first reference signal, obtaining first information of a semi-statically configured resource useable for the uplink transmission, and in response to performing the uplink transmission based on the control information, sending, by the communications apparatus on an overlapping time-frequency resource of a second time-frequency resource and a third time-frequency resource, a reference signal generated based on configuration information of a second reference signal or failing to send a signal. The control information includes information about the first time-frequency resource allocated to the uplink transmission and configuration information of the first reference signal useable for the uplink transmission.

Abstract: A data transmission method, a terminal, and a network device are provided, to improve reliability of data transmission performed by a terminal in a grant-free mode. In embodiments of the present invention, a terminal sends, in a grant-free mode, first data to a network device by using a grant-free resource, and if the terminal needs to switch from the grant-free mode to a grant mode, the terminal sends, in the grant mode, second data to the network device by using a grant resource. When the terminal initially transmits the first data in the grant-free mode, if the terminal needs to switch from the grant-free mode to the grant mode, the terminal may fall back to the grant mode and transmit data in the grant mode. Abstract: This application provides a transmission method that improves performance of detecting a terminal device by a network device. The method includes may include determining, by a network device, frequency hopping sequences of N terminal devices grouped into a plurality of groups in each of L adjacent slots, where any two terminal devices in each group of terminal devices use a same frequency resource, any two groups of terminal devices in each slot use different frequency resources, and each group of terminal devices in each slot includes a maximum of K terminal devices, pilot signals used by each group of terminal devices are elements in a set that includes K different pilot signals, and pilot signals used by any two terminal devices in each group in each slot are different. The method may also include sending, by the network device, first indication information to a first terminal device in the N terminal devices, where the first indication information determines a frequency hopping sequence of the first terminal device and a pilot signal used by the first terminal device in each slot.
