    Abstract: A tracking system obtains first recognized object and associated first information being detected in at least one image captured by camera(s). First information includes first recognized object's first feature(s), first additional feature(s) derived from the first feature(s), first location(s) of first feature(s), and first real-world dimensions. A list of tracking objects is obtained, each including second recognized object and associated second information. Second information including second recognized object's second feature(s), second additional feature(s) derived from second feature(s), second location(s) of second feature(s), and second real-world dimensions. The system compares first additional feature(s) with second additional feature(s) stored in given tracking object, first location(s) with second location(s) stored in given tracking object, and first real-world dimensions with second real-world dimensions stored in given tracking object. When they match, the first information comprising first additional feature(s) are stored in given tracking object.

    Abstract: A mobile security system includes a first camera, a second camera, and a controller. The first and second cameras capture first and second images at a first time and include first and second object images of an object, respectively. The controller: obtains a camera distance between the first and second cameras, receives the first and second images from the first and second cameras, retrieves the first and second object images in the first and second images, respectively; determines first and second object image sizes of the object in the first and second object images, respectively; calculates a first object distance between the first camera and the object using the camera distance and the first and second object image sizes; determines whether the first object distance satisfies criteria of a security policy; and if so, apply a security action associated with the security policy.

    Abstract: A secure medical device includes: a hardware storage; a lock coupled to the hardware storage; a data storage and a medical record residing within the hardware storage, the data storage storing a destination location including a first geophysical location; one or more processors; and a non-transitory computer readable medium comprising programming instructions. When the programming instructions are executed by the one or more processors, the one or more processors: (a) receive an access request from a requester to access the medical record; (b) obtain a current location of the secure medical device, the current location comprising a second geophysical location; (c) compare the first geophysical location to the second geophysical location; and (d) upon determining that the second geophysical location matches the first geophysical location, send a command to unlock the lock to allow access to the medical record residing within the hardware storage.

    Abstract: A system includes a television set for displaying a video for a viewer. The television set connects to a persona television system over a data network and sends a request for a television show for a persona to the persona television system. A “persona” includes a character representation of a person other than the viewer, an event, or a group. The persona television system selects a television show based on the persona. The persona television system sends to the television set a show description of the television show. The show description includes video source information about video source such that the television set can obtain television show from video source. In this manner, a data network video is automatically selected as a television show based on a persona and provided to the television set, increasing the ease with which the viewer can identify video choices of interest.
