    摘要: A method of fabricating a semiconductor device having a metal gate pattern is provided in which capping layers are used to control the relative oxidation rates of portions of the metal gate pattern during a oxidation process. The capping layer may be a multilayer structure and may be etched to form insulating spacers on the sidewalls of the metal gate pattern. The capping layer(s) allow the use of a selective oxidation process, which may be a wet oxidation process utilizing partial pressures of both H2O and H2 in an H2-rich atmosphere, to oxidize portions of the substrate and metal gate pattern while suppressing the oxidation of metal layers that may be included in the metal gate pattern. This allows etch damage to the silicon substrate and edges of the metal gate pattern to be reduced while substantially maintaining the original thickness of the gate insulating layer and the conductivity of the metal layer(s).

    摘要: In accordance with one or more embodiments of the present invention, a driving portion of a display device is formed on the same plane as a display portion of a display device. The driving portion includes cumulative layers of a control electrode, a first insulating layer, a semiconductor layer, a second insulating layer, an input electrode, an output electrode, and an auxiliary layer on top of the layers. Thus, the transistors within the driving portion may be more compact, while possibly reducing the likelihood of a short circuit between the electrodes.

    摘要: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device including a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed there between. The first substrate is provided with gate lines and data lines thereon. The gate lines and data lines cross with each other and are insulated from each other. Pixel electrodes are stacked on the gate lines and data lines. Each pixel electrode includes first and second sub-pixel electrodes spaced apart from each other and a connection electrode, which connects the first sub-pixel electrode to the second sub-pixel electrode. The second substrate is provided with a common electrode thereon. The common electrode includes a first domain divider formed on the center of the first sub-pixel electrode and a second domain divider formed on the center of the second sub-pixel electrode.

An optical detection unit converts a downstream high speed and low speed optical signals into electrical signals. A laser diode converts an upstream signal into an optical signal.     摘要: A gate driver comprises a shift register that has a plurality of stages connected together and outputs a gate signal comprising a first pulse and a second pulse to a gate line. A stage includes a holding part, a pre-charging part, a pull-up part, and a pull-down part. The holding part discharges an output terminal to an off-voltage in response to a first clock signal. The pre-charging part turns off the holding part and outputs the first clock signal as the first pulse to the output terminal in response to an output signal of a previous stage. The pull-up part outputs a second clock signal as the second pulse to the output terminal in response to the output signal of the previous stage. The pull-down part discharges the first output terminal to the off-voltage in response to an output signal of a next stage.
