摘要: The invention generally relates to methods and circuits for controlling switching of parallel coupled power semiconductor switching devices (3), for example for use in a power converter. In an example, there is provided a circuit for controlling switching of parallel coupled power semiconductor switching devices (3), the circuit comprising: a plurality of drive modules (2), each said module for controlling a said power semiconductor switching device (3); control circuitry to transmit switch command signals to the modules, each said switch command signal to trigger a said drive module to control a said power semiconductor switching device to switch state; and voltage isolation between the drive modules and the control circuitry, wherein each said drive module for controlling a said device comprises: timing circuitry (22) to compare a switching delay of the device and a reference delay, wherein said switching delay is a time interval between detecting a said switching command signal at the drive module and switching of the device in accordance with the detected switching command signal; and delay circuitry (21) to provide a controllable delay to delay a said triggering by a said switching command signal received at the module subsequent to the detected switching command signal, the delay circuitry configured to control the controllable delay according to a result of said comparison of said switching delay of the device, to thereby reduce a time difference between the reference delay and a said switching delay of the device switching in accordance with the subsequent switching command signal.

摘要: The present invention generally relates to a switching cell for a phase leg of a power converter and a method of controlling a power converter to drive a load, and more particularly to a plurality of such switching cells, a phase arm for a power converter, a power converter phase leg, to a power converter for driving a load, and methods of making a power converter. A switching cell for a phase leg of a power converter may comprise: a power switch for conducting a current for driving a load; a commutation path coupled in parallel with the power switch, the commutation path comprising a cell capacitor and an auxiliary switch coupled in series, the auxiliary switch configured to allow control of a conduction state of the commutation path; and a cell inductor coupled to a coupling of the power switch and the commutation path, wherein the switching cell comprises at least one control input line for receiving a control signal, the at least one control input line configured to drive a control terminal of the power switch and a control terminal of the auxiliary switch.

摘要: Presented is a method for forming at least one structure on a substrate. Utilizing a low-temperature plasma jet, powder, of which the structure shall be constructed, is applied to a surface of the substrate. Using at least one laser beam, heat is input into the substrate and/or the powder within a laser incidence region on the substrate. The heat input delays solidification of the powder particles, which are partly or fully melted in the plasma jet, on the substrate and thereby enables the formation of good adhesion between the applied powder, and thus the structure constructed out of the powder, and the substrate. The invention further relates to an apparatus for performing the method.

The on-load tap changer is a load selector or a load changeover switch depending on the arrangement of the at least one identical switching segment, the resistor subassembly, and the mounting of the plurality of identical actuators at the inner wall of the oil tank.

A bearing ring is so acted on by a resilient element at one side and radially with respect to the axis of the on-load tap changer that the switching tube and the oil suction pipe both mechanically positively cooperate with the bearing ring and are centered about the axis of the on-load tap changer.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for regulating the voltage of a transformer (1) having different winding taps (3). The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a method with which different load flow directions can be regulated with conventional transformers (1) and voltage regulators (7) in order to ensure a safe and reliable supply of voltage. The general inventive concept consists in determining, using a method in which a quadrant system (11) is used, the phase angle of the conduction current (I) and thus the load flow direction, thereby preventing deviation from the voltage range as a result of power input that is too high, by controlling the load tap changer (4).
