    摘要: The hearing aid includes a signal processor having a level-dependent filter section and a level-independent filter section. The level-dependent filter section provides level-dependent gain wherein sound is attenuated or amplified depending on the level of the incoming sound. The level-independent filter section provides substantially constant gain wherein sound that passes through the filter section is not changed in level, and provides transparency in that it corrects for insertion loss caused by the earpiece of the hearing aid when worn by the user. The level dependent and level independent filter sections, when fitted to the user, greatly improve the user's perception of sound.

    摘要: A power line communication system and method permit auto-commissioning of multiple device control modules on a DC power line during the power up of the system. Device control modules associated with the peripheral devices are powered up sequentially and a unique address is assigned to each device controller when it is powered up. The device control modules have a unique circuit configuration that allows the use of inexpensive and mostly passive components. The cost effectiveness of the device controller design becomes particularly significant in applications, such as multi-panel OLED lighting fixtures, with high node counts.

    摘要: An apparatus for magnetic treatment of fluids comprises a tubular body which retains a plurality of magnets and which defines an inner flow channel, a plurality of spaced apart positioning rings secured in the flow channel to the body, each positioning ring having including a plurality of annularly distributed, radially extending turbulence fins disposed in alignment with and annularly to a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal dimension of the tubular body, and one or more radially extending support posts, one support post on a first one of the rings having an outwardly-biased retaining pin, and one of the support posts on a second one of the rings including an outwardly-oriented locking nut for locking the second ring flow channel of the tubular body by rotatably extending the nut from the post.
