Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for resource allocation and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) feedback for multi-cell scheduling. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a configuration for a plurality of carriers, receiving, from the BS, control information indicating whether resources for a data channel are allocated in a concatenated pair of carriers of the plurality of carriers, and communicating on the data channel with the BS based on the control information.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for techniques for bandwidth part (BWP) operations when a user equipment (UE) is configured with multi-cell physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) scheduling. A method that may be performed by a UE includes receiving, from a base station (BS), first downlink control information (DCI) indicating whether resources are allocated for at least one data channel on multiple carriers, the first DCI configuring at least one BWP configuration to be activated on the multiple carriers, interpreting the first DCI based on the at least one BWP configuration to be activated, and communicating with the BS in accordance with the first DCI as interpreted based on the at least one BWP configuration.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can report direct current (DC) subcarrier location information for a subset of possible combinations of bandwidth parts and component carriers supported by a base station. In one aspect, the UE can receive, from a scheduling entity, a message for activating a first combination of bandwidth parts (BWPs) and component carriers (CCs) in a list including a subset of combinations of BWPs and CCs configured for the UE. The UE can report direct current subcarrier location information for the first combination of BWPs and CCs to the scheduling entity.

The UE may receive, from the base station, information that indicates, among the set of candidate downlink beams and the set of candidate uplink beams, a best uplink beam to use for one or more uplink transmissions. For example, the base station may select the best uplink beam based at least in part on the measurements associated with the one or more downlink reference signals and measurements associated with the one or more uplink reference signals.
