    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described, including detection of whether a first wireless device is location within a near-field distance of a second wireless device. The first wireless device measures phases of reference signals received at first antenna array of the first antenna array from a second antenna array of the second wireless device. The first wireless device determines, based on the phases, the values of quadratic terms associated with an equation for calculating the distance between a first antenna of the first antenna array and the center of the first antenna array or for calculating the distance between a second antenna of the second antenna array and the center of the second antenna array. The first wireless device determines, based on the quadratic terms, whether the first wireless device is within the near-field distance of the second wireless device.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information, the configuration information indicating that the UE may use one or more uplink grants for a sidelink communication. The UE may receive scheduling information indicating an uplink grant, of the one or more uplink grants, of uplink resources for an uplink communication of the UE. The UE may transmit, to another UE and via a sidelink, the sidelink communication using the uplink resources. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for coordinating waveform parameters and frame delays for multi-radar coexistence. An example method performed by an apparatus comprising a radar device includes transmitting, based on a transmission configuration, one or more first signals of a plurality of signals in an environment via the radar device in a first frame of a plurality of frames according to a first delay value occurring after a frame prior to the first frame and transmitting one or more second signals via the radar device in at least a second frame of the plurality of frames according to a second delay value occurring after the first frame based on the transmission configuration. In some cases, the transmission configuration comprises a common transmission configuration for use in the environment. Additionally, in some cases, the second delay value is different from the first delay value.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a user equipment (UE) configured for detecting phase coherence failure in coherent joint transmissions (CJTs) from multiple wireless nodes (e.g., transmission/reception points (TRPs) and/or base stations). In some examples, the UE is configured to obtain signaling from a plurality of wireless nodes, the signaling including a first signal from a first wireless node of the plurality of wireless nodes and a second signal from a second wireless node of the plurality of wireless nodes. The UE is also configured to estimate a phase difference between the first signal and the second signal. In some examples, the UE is configured to output, for transmission to at least one of the first wireless node or the second wireless node, an indication of the estimated phase difference.
