Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for sharing a user equipment (UE)-initiated channel occupancy time (COT) with a base station (BS) by transmitting receiver-side assistance information on an uplink shared channel of an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. In some aspects, the UE may perform a clear channel assessment (CCA) prior to an uplink transmit opportunity, and if the CCA is successful, transmit the receiver-side assistance information on the uplink shared channel to share the COT with a BS. Multiple uplink transmit opportunities may be indicated to the UE send the receiver-side assistance information. In some examples, the uplink transmit opportunities may be configured grant occasions for a configured grant or scheduled by downlink control information. By transmitting to the BS, the UE may share the COT with the BS, and the BS may send downlink data to the UE during the COT.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a message scheduling transmission, by the UE, of uplink control information (UCI) in an uplink control channel resource, such as a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource. The UE may receive an indication that the UE is scheduled to transmit the UCI via a first beam during the uplink control channel resource and via a second beam during the uplink control channel resource, where the first beam may be directed to a first base station and the second beam may be directed to a second base station. The UE may determine a number of repetitions associated with transmitting the UCI, and transmit the UCI via one of inter-slot repetition, intra-uplink control channel resource beam hopping, or intra-slot repetition based on the number of repetitions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor a set of downlink control channel candidates that are associated with each other, the set of downlink control channel candidates including a first downlink control channel candidate in a first transmission time interval (TTI) and a last downlink control channel candidate in a second TTI subsequent to the first TTI. The UE may receive, based on the monitoring, at least one repetition of downlink control information (DCI) within one of the first downlink control channel candidate or the last downlink control channel candidate, the DCI scheduling a transmission between a base station and the UE. The UE may apply a scheduling offset associated with the transmission based on a timing of the last downlink control channel candidate, and may subsequently communicate with the base station via the transmission based on the scheduling offset.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may measure a frequency selectivity of a channel between the UE and a base station and may transmit signaling to the base station indicating one or both of a frequency selectivity metric or a recommended demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port multiplexing pattern based on measuring the frequency selectivity. In some aspects, the UE may transmit the signaling to assist the base station in configuring a DMRS port multiplexing pattern based on current channel conditions. For example, if the frequency selectivity metric satisfies a threshold, the UE may recommend a DMRS port multiplexing pattern absent of code division multiplexing (CDM). Alternatively, if the frequency selectivity metric fails to satisfy the threshold, the UE may recommend a DMRS port multiplexing patter including CDM.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to multi-slot slot format indicators (SFIs) are provided. In one embodiment, a first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a first SFI for a first set of slots and a second SFI for a second set of slots overlapping with the first set of slots. The first wireless communication device communicates with the second wireless communication device based on at least one of the first SFI or the second SFI. In one embodiment, a first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a configuration for a first slot and an SFI indicating slot formats for a set of slots including the first slot. The SFI indicates an unspecified slot format for the first slot. The first wireless communication device communicates with the second wireless communication device in the first slot based on the configuration.

In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive signaling scheduling a first set repetitions of a first uplink shared channel transmission associated with a first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set and a second set of repetitions of a second uplink shared channel transmission associated with a second SRS resource set. The UE may receive a request to transmit one or more channel state information (CSI) reports and an indication that the CSI reports are to be multiplexed with one of the first set of repetitions or the second set of repetitions or with both of the first and second set of repetitions. The UE may then transmit the CSI reports in accordance with the indication by multiplexing the CSI reports with one or both of the first set of repetitions and the second set of repetitions.

Transmission parameters for each repetition may be based on parameters (e.g., a number of antenna ports, a spatial domain filter or beam, a rank or number of layers, or any combinations thereof) that are determined from an indication of whether the repetitions are to use different sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets, and indicated SRS resource of each SRS resource set. The indication may include a same number of bits regardless of whether one SRS resource set is used or multiple SRS resource sets are used, and may be based on a prior configuration of the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support listen before talk (LBT) for uplink transmissions using multiple subbands. A base station may support communication with a user equipment (UE) via multiple subbands and may transmit an uplink grant to the UE that allocates resources of the multiple subbands for transmission of a shared data channel by the UE. The base station may include an indication within the uplink grant that indicates to the UE to perform a given type of LBT for each subband. After transmitting the uplink grant, the base station may transmit control information or other signaling (e.g., channel occupancy time system information (COT-SI)) that indicates subbands on which the UE is to perform a given type of LBT or other subbands on which the UE is to perform a different type of LBT.
