    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message configuring the UE to communicate coordinated transmissions with multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) using a first coordinated transmission mode of a set of different coordinated transmission modes. The UE may receive, based on the configuration message, downlink control information including at least one indicator and receive a first coordinated transmission communicated in accordance with the first coordinated transmission mode. The UE may transmit, in accordance with a feedback configuration corresponding to the at least one indicator and the first coordinated transmission mode, a feedback message for the first coordinated transmission to at least one of the multiple TRPs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for providing acknowledgment feedback in sidelink communications. A sidelink transmitting UE may receive a resource grant for a sidelink communication with one or more other UEs and may transmit the sidelink communication in accordance with the grant. The transmitting UE may then monitor for acknowledgment feedback from the one or more other UEs and generate sidelink acknowledgment feedback. A joint communication that provides both downlink acknowledgment feedback and the sidelink acknowledgment feedback may be provided to a serving base station. The transmitting UE may also multiplex sidelink acknowledgment feedback for each of two or more other UEs in a communication to the serving base station. The serving base station may determine whether any resources for retransmissions are to be granted based on the acknowledgment feedback.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for multiple downlink control information (DCI) message handling for multiple control resource set (CORESET) groups. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may provide separate or joint feedback for data messages received from different CORESET groups. In some examples, the UE may be configured with code block group (CBG)-based transmissions for a component carrier (CC) or a CORESET group in a CC. If implementing a dynamic codebook, the UE may track separate transport block (TB)-based and CBG-based downlink assignment indexes (DAIs) for each CORESET group or may track joint TB-based and CBG-based DAIs across the set of CORESET groups to handle the CBG configuration. Additionally, or alternatively, if implementing a semi-static codebook, the UE may apply skipping rules across the set of CORESET groups or separately for each CORESET group to reduce signaling overhead.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that an uplink control information (UCI) payload satisfies a threshold size condition. The UE may map the UCI payload to an uplink control sequence. The UE may transmit a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) that include the uplink control sequence to a base station. The uplink control sequence may be representative of the UCI payload. The base station may receive the PUCCH that includes the uplink control sequence from the UE. The base station may also determine the UCI payload by associating the uplink control sequence with a corresponding sequence index of the one or more sets of uplink control sequences.

In some aspects, a user equipment may identify, when using carrier aggregation and a plurality of component carrier groups, first traffic associated with a first service type and second traffic associated with a second service type for concurrent transmission. The user equipment may transmit, concurrently, the first traffic associated with the first service type using a first component carrier group of the plurality of component carrier groups, and the second traffic associated with the second service type using a second component carrier group of the plurality of component carrier groups. For example, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive a downlink control message (e.g., an uplink grant) that schedules resources for transmitting repetitions of an uplink channel transmission, where each of the repetitions of the uplink channel transmission may correspond to a single transport block. The UE may determine a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources based on the downlink control message, and transmit different instances of the uplink channel transmission repetitions according to different SRS resources. The described examples for uplink repetitions may support various techniques for uplink coverage enhancement and diversity gains.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to enable a user equipment (UE) to bundle reference signals, such as demodulation reference signals (DMRSs), by maintaining one or more coherence properties across DMRSs. A base station may transmit an indication of a DMRS bundling configuration to the UE, and the UE may transmit a DMRS bundling capability indication to the base station. The base station may transmit DCI to the UE, and the UE may determine whether to maintain or alter DMRS bundling (for example, maintain or alter one or more coherence properties) for one or more physical shared channels based on the DCI. The UE may maintain or alter one or more coherence properties of the one or more physical shared channels based on determining whether to maintain DMRS bundling and may transmit the one or more physical shared channels and associated DMRSs to the base station.
