    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a report associated with a maximum permissible exposure event that has occurred for one or more component carriers. The report may indicate one or more candidate beams for each of the one or more component carriers. The UE may receive, from the base station, at least one downlink control information message scheduling an uplink communication on the one or more component carriers. The UE may transmit, to the base station, the uplink communication on the one or more component carriers using at least one transmit beam that corresponds to a candidate beam of the one or more candidate beams for a component carrier of the one or more component carriers.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may establish communication with a set of transmission reception points including a first transmission reception point and a second transmission reception point. The UE may receive a single control message including one or more respective timing advance indications for uplink channel transmissions to one or more respective transmission reception points. In some examples, each timing advance indication may identify a respective transmission reception point using a respective timing advance value. The UE may determine a first timing advance value for the uplink channel transmissions based on the one or more respective timing advance indications identifying a respective transmission reception point. The UE may then transmit, to the first transmission reception point, an uplink channel transmission over an uplink channel using the first timing advance value determined for the first transmission reception point.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring a user equipment (UE) to communicate with a network entity based on a selected antenna panel reported to a network entity. An example method generally includes transmitting, to a network entity, a report including information associated with an antenna panel selected for communications between the user equipment and the network entity; selecting a starting time and a wait time to apply a configuration associated with the selected antenna panel; activating an update timer based on the starting time and the wait time; and communicating with the network entity based on the configuration associated with the selected antenna panel after expiry of the update timer.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An energy receiver may receive a first message that includes information indicative of a time division duplex (TDD) configuration for wireless energy and information transfer, the TDD configuration indicating a temporal arrangement of energy and information resources. In some examples, an energy transmitter may configure the TDD configuration as cell-specific, energy receiver-specific, or using a slot format indication (SFI). In addition, the TDD configuration may include flexible resources able to be used for energy or information transfer. The energy receiver may receive one or more energy signals during the energy resources in accordance with the TDD configuration, the one or more energy signals providing energy to the energy receiver. Accordingly, the energy receiver may transmit one or more information signals during the information resources in accordance with the TDD configuration.

In some aspects, a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) device may receive a partition configuration indication that is associated with configuring a surface of the RIS device that includes multiple surface partitions, the partition configuration indication associated with activating a first subset of the multiple surface partitions, the first subset of the multiple surface partitions being based at least in part on a location of the first subset on the surface, a geometric shape formed by the first subset, and a beam. The RIS may activate the first subset of the multiple surface partitions. The RIS may deactivate a second subset of the multiple surface partitions, each surface partition in the second subset not being included in the first subset. Numerous other aspects are described.
