    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmission reception point (TRP) may determine a configuration for downlink transmission of group-common control information associated with a plurality of TRPs. The TRP may identify a set of downlink resources allocated for transmission of the group-common control information. A user equipment (UE) may receive the configuration from at least one TRP of the plurality of TRPs. The UE may monitor downlink resources for reception of the group-common information based on the configuration. The TRP may transmit, and the UE may receive, the group-common control information over the downlink resources. The group-common control information may indicate communication parameters for communications between the UE and at least one TRP.

In some aspects, a user equipment may determine a resource allocation, from a resource set, for a response message using a resource allocation selection procedure. In some aspects, the user equipment may transmit the response message using the resource allocation and based at least in part on determining the resource allocation. In some aspects, the user equipment may determine, using an implicit resource mapping procedure and before a radio resource control connection establishment, a resource allocation for a redundancy scheme response message based at least in part on a remaining minimum system information (RMSI) value.     Abstract: Techniques for signaling varied modulation and coding schemes for wireless communication are discussed. A method of wireless communication may comprise receiving, by a user equipment (UE), an indication to apply a modulation order cap to determine a first modulation and coding scheme for transmission of uplink control information different from a second modulation and coding scheme for transmission of data. The method may further comprise transmitting the uplink control information using the first modulation and coding scheme, wherein the first modulation and coding scheme is determined based, at least in part, on the received indication to apply the modulation order cap.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for reporting a first and second stage of feedback for multiple physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) to reduce latency and improve reliability. The first stage of feedback may include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for all PDSCHs or each PDSCH, and the second stage of feedback may include channel state information (CSI) feedback for all PDSCHs or each PDSCH. A user equipment (UE) may transmit the first and second stages of feedback in a single physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) or multiple PUCCHs (e.g., a PUCCH corresponding to each PDSCH). In some cases, the UE may report the HARQ and CSI feedback based on whether the PDSCHs include the same or different transport blocks or whether the PDSCHs are transmitted with the same or different transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) having partially coherent antennas may be configured for simultaneous transmissions on groups of antennas. To achieve the benefits of simultaneous transmissions using groups of antenna that are partially coherent, without having the transmissions affect each other, the UE may apply a hybrid closed-loop multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheme among each antenna in the antenna groups where phase coherence can be maintained Following the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, the UE may apply a transparent diversity scheme across each antenna of the groups. Alternatively, the UE may first apply the transparent diversity scheme and next apply the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme. By applying a hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, and a transparent diversity scheme, the UE may fully realize its resources and contribute to an improved spatial diversity for a MIMO system.

The methods, systems, and devices may enable a base station to determine an operation state for a user equipment (UE) that corresponds to how the UE applies a preemption indication. The base station may indicate the operation state to the UE using a parameter of a configuration message. The base station may transmit a grant indicating time-frequency resources scheduled for the UE. The UE may identify a priority of a channel associated with the scheduled resources. The base station may determine a number of scheduled resources to be preempted or canceled and may indicate these resources to the UE using a preemption indication. The UE may determine remaining time-frequency resources based on the preemption indication, the priority of the channels, the operation state, or a combination thereof.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a capability of the UE to support concurrent transmissions on a maximum number of channels, and may report the capability to a base station. The UE may identify that the UE 115 is scheduled to concurrently transmit on a scheduled number of channels. In some cases, the scheduled number of channels may exceed the maximum number of channels supported for concurrent transmissions by the UE. In some cases, the UE may then transmit one or more concurrent transmissions to the base station, the one or more concurrent transmissions being less than or equal to the maximum number of channels supported for concurrent transmission by the UE.

A communications device may receive a downlink control message that supports indicating multiple modes for reporting hybrid automatic repeat request feedback, including a first mode for reporting hybrid automatic repeat request feedback and channel information according to a bundled configuration and a second mode for reporting hybrid automatic repeat request feedback according to a standalone configuration. The communications device may use the downlink control message to determine a mode for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request feedback. The communications device may also transmit either bundled hybrid automatic repeat request feedback and channel information or standalone hybrid automatic repeat request according to the determined mode.
