摘要: A method and light emitting diode (LED) illumination device comprising multiple emitter modules are provided. In one embodiment, the method includes bringing to a level insufficient to produce illumination the respective drive currents of all except one of multiple emission LED elements within respective first and second emitter modules for the duration of a measurement interval within respective first and second series of measurement intervals. The measurement intervals are interspersed with periods of illumination, and the first and second series of measurement intervals are separated by respective first and second offsets from a timing reference. An embodiment of an illumination device includes multiple emitter modules, where each emitter module includes multiple emission LED elements and one or more photodetectors. The illumination device further includes a lamp control circuit adapted to perform steps of the method.

摘要: An LED driving system with a master-slave architecture. The LED driving system has at least two LED driving circuits which both have a first status detecting circuit, a second status detecting circuit and a first feedback control circuit. The first status detecting circuit receives a plurality of headroom detecting voltages provided by a plurality of LED strings and generates at least one self-status signal. The second status detecting circuit receives a downstream feedback signal and generates at least one downstream status signal. The first feedback control circuit generates a first feedback control signal based on the at least one self-status signal and the at least one downstream status signal. The second status detecting circuit of one LED driving circuit is coupled to the first feedback control circuit of the other LED driving circuit.

摘要: Described herein are embodiments for systems and methods LED driver. In one or more embodiments, the LED driver may operate in a boost mode to charge a capacitor using a power source or in a boost mode to use the charged capacitor to provide current to a load, such as an LED string. In one or more embodiments, the LED driver uses a single inductor for boost mode operation or buck mode operation. Such embodiments simplify the LED driver and therefore provide an economic advantage. In one or more embodiments, the power source is disconnected in the buck mode, such that the capacitor may be discharged to a low voltage. Therefore, the capacitor may need smaller capacitance to deliver the same discharge energy which otherwise requires a capacitor with larger capacitance.

摘要: A lighting system includes an LED downlight mountable to a ceiling, a driver, and an insulation displacement connector (IDC). Light from the downlight can be faced downward to project light or upward to reflect light off of the ceiling. The driver has an input with a first voltage and an output with a second voltage, the second voltage being lower than the first and being provided through a wire system extending from the LED driver. The IDC connects the downlight to the wire system. The lighting system can be changed from a first to a second configuration by at least one of adding an additional downlight using a corresponding IDC or removing an existing downlight using a corresponding IDC. The second configuration does not significantly affect a desired output range of light from any downlight or any LED circuit of any downlight that remains or preexists from the first configuration.

In addition, the radio frequency module transforms the radio analog control signal into a digital control signal. The luminance module is integrated on the base and electrically coupled to the circuit layer. Besides, the luminance module illuminates based on the digital control signal. Specifically, the base, the radio frequency antenna, the radio frequency module and the luminance module integrate with each other via the circuit layer.
