摘要: System and method for controlling one or more light emitting diodes. For example, the system includes: a phase detector configured to process information associated with a rectified voltage generated by a rectifier and related to a TRIAC dimmer, the rectified voltage corresponding to a first waveform during a first half cycle of an AC voltage and corresponding to a second waveform during a second half cycle of the AC voltage, the phase detector being further configured to generate a phase detection signal representing a first time duration during which the first waveform indicates that the rectified voltage is larger than a predetermined threshold and representing a second time duration during which the second waveform indicates that the rectified voltage is larger than the predetermined threshold; and a mode detector configured to process information associated with the rectified voltage.

摘要: The disclosure describes techniques for driving a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged in a parallel connection by using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) dimming. The techniques of this disclosure describe the generation and application of a fixed phase shift map to a driver matrix based on pixel position. Each pixel corresponds to an LED light source. In the fixed phase shift map, each pixel will have a pre-defined phase shift calculated to induce a determined variation in turn-on time for geometrically neighbouring pixels to spread out current demand over time during PWM dimming.

摘要: A light-emitting diode (LED) luminaire control system comprising a control circuit is adopted to provide remote control signals to operate an external luminaire that comprises LED arrays and a power supply. The LED luminaire control system further comprises a relay switch, a remote controller, and a transceiver circuit. When the remote control signals are initiated by the remote controller with phase-shift keying (PSK) signals transmitted, the transceiver circuit can demodulate such PSK signals and subsequently send decoded commands to the LED luminaire control system to control the luminaire by turning on and off and dimming up and down the external luminaire.

摘要: Various embodiments include a dimmer for controlling the power consumption of a connectable load. The dimmer includes: two parallel-connected, electrically isolated dimmer channels with control devices; a main control device for the channels; a communication link from the main control device to the channel control devices; and a communication link transmitting information from a first dimmer channel to a second dimmer channel. At least one of the two dimmer channels comprises a measurement device generating information about behavior of the electricity at a location in the measurement dimmer channel. The communication link transmits that information. Starting from the measurement dimmer channel, a channel communication link leads in each case from one dimmer channel to the next dimmer channel. The dimmer determines whether respective times of respective zero crossings of a sinusoidal AC voltage applied to the respective dimmer channel are substantially synchronous.
