摘要: A light-emitting diode (LED)-based solid-state lamp using an LED driving circuit with an electric current control operates normally for a regulated power from either a compact fluorescent (CFL) electronic ballast or AC mains. The LED driving circuit together with a matching circuit is configured to optimize resonant characteristics of the CFL electronic ballast used and enhance lamp compatibility without flickering, which in turn reduces possibility of overheating and fires due to incompatibility. With a cycle-by-cycle current control and power switching at a constant on-time and varied off-time, an over-rated surge current is limited, preventing occasional fire hazards occurred in both the CFL electronic ballast and the LED lamp.

摘要: A thermo-compression head, a soldering system, and a LED tube lamp are disclosed. The thermo-compression head includes a bonding plane, a restraining plane, one or more concave guiding tank, and one or more concave molding tank. The bonding plane is for touching a second object. The restraining plane is adjacent to the bonding plane for touching a first object soldered to the second object. The concave guiding tank is formed on the bonding plane. An end of the concave guiding tank is opened near an edge of the bonding plane while an opposite end of the concave guiding tank is closed. The concave molding tank is formed on the restraining plane and positioned beside the concave guiding tank. The concave molding tank communicates with the concave guiding tank via the open end of the concave guiding tank.

摘要: An LED tube lamp includes a lamp tube, an LED module, a power supply module, a micro switch, and an actuator. The lamp tube has pins for receiving an external driving signal. The power supply module is configured for supplying power to the LED module. The micro switch is coupled to the power supply module. And the actuator is configured to cause the micro switch to change to a closed-circuit position to allow the power supply module to supply power to the LED module for emitting light. When the LED tube lamp is properly installed into a lamp holder, the micro switch closes to electrically connect the power supply module to an external driving signal.

摘要: A lighting module includes a semiconductor laser element configured for emitting a laser beam in an emission cone, a light-emitting element, and a reflecting surface, a main portion of which reflects light coming from the light-emitting element in order to form an outgoing light beam. A secondary guiding face reflects the light coming from the first emission cone into a measurement cone. Also included is a device for detecting incident light exceeding a predetermined threshold of light intensity which is arranged within the measurement cone. The optical structure of the guiding face causes a spreading of the light so that the measurement cone exhibits an aperture angle greater than that of the first emission cone.

摘要: A light-emitting diode (LED)-based solid-state lamp (LED lamp) comprising four input ports, two bridge rectifiers, two interface modules, an LED driving circuit, and LED arrays operates normally for an input voltage applied from any two of the input ports without operational uncertainty and a fire hazard. The LED driving circuit is configured to provide a regulated power and current to drive the LED arrays. With a cycle-by-cycle triac switching and current control, an over-rated surge current is limited, preventing any fire hazards possibly occurred in the ballast when operated with the LED lamp. With various electrical connection terminals, the lamp can fit and operate in various lamp fixtures comprising two-pin, four-pin, or Edison-base sockets.

摘要: A safety switch for a lighting device is disclosed. The lighting device includes a plurality of solid state light sources and a housing encompassing these. The housing has a first end with a first end cap and an opening therein. A first set of pins extend from the first end cap, and are coupled to a first set of pin connectors. A movable actuator has a pair of electrical connectors that correspond to the first set of pin connectors and are coupled to the solid state light sources. A bridge that holds the pair of electrical connectors, and a holder extends from the bridge through the opening in the first end cap. The movable actuator is capable of movement between a closed position, which creates an electrical connection between the electrical connectors and the pin connectors, and an open position, wherein creates no such electrical connection.
