摘要： A multiple stores weapons rail comprising a box beam structure spanning thenderside of an aircraft's fuselage. The box beam structure has a forward structural member and a rear structural member which are flexibly coupled by a ball joint coupling at a predetermined location on the aircraft's fuselage. Extending from the box beam structure are first, second and third identically shaped elongated pylons with the first elongated pylon being located on the centerline of the box beam structure and the second and third elongated pylons being positioned adjacent the first elongated pylon at angle of about 24 degrees. Each of the three elongated pylons has front and rear portions flexibly coupled at the predetermined location on the aircraft's fuselage. The first elongated pylon has first, second and third openings, while the second and third elongated pylons each have first and second openings with each opening being adapted to accommodate a missile launcher or bomb rack.

摘要： An improved, multi-store dispenser is described which uses a solenoid and ring combination to eject individual stores after an electrical pulse is sent from the transporting aircraft. As each store is loaded into the dispenser, the loading action forces a spring into a compressed mode and a latch is closed to prevent expulsion. An electric pulse trips a solenoid, which in turn causes the latch to release, thereby allowing the store to be ejected.

摘要： A release and arming mechanism for an ordnance device having an arming block, a pair of opposed jaws pivotally mounted to the arming block, and a solenoid that, when energized, holds the jaws in a closed position around an arming wire. A release lanyard connectable to the ordnance device is clipped to the jaws in such a manner as to hold the jaws in the closed position until such time as the ordnance device is launched. A spring may be placed between the jaws below their pivot points to force the jaws open upon disconnection of the release lanyard.

摘要： A pyrofuze ordnance arming system, for air delivered ordnance, which provs a removable physical barrier to prevent the premature operation of ordnance device arming activation systems. 摘要： An arming unit is used on an aircraft to control the arming of a store (20) containing explosive on its release from the aircraft so that the store is not armed until after its release and after it has travelled a predetermined distance away from the aircraft. Such an arming unit comprises a pivoted hook (12) for engaging and retaining the ring or loop (26) on the end of an arming wire attached to an arming pin on the store (20), the hook being biased into closed position, an inter-connection (16) between the hook (12) and a spring loaded plunger (4) having an extending portion constituting a sensor for engaging the upper surface of a store (20) to be released, the inter-connection (16) serving to open the hook (12) as a result of downward movement of the plunger (4) on release of the store (20), and a lock (22, 46) for holding the hook (12) in its closed position and thus preventing operation of the inter-connection (16). When a safe release is required, the lock (22, 46) is not operated and the interconnection (16) opens the hook to release the ring or loop (12) without restraint. On the other hand, if armed release is required, the lock (22, 46) is operated and prevents the inter-connection (16) from opening the hook (12) so that the ring or loop (26) is not released and the store (20) is armed by the arming wire after it has fallen a predetermined distance away from the aircraft.

摘要： To drop objects from a container or receptacle mounted at an aircraft there is beneficially employed a pressure head. For this purpose the object mounted internally of the container upon guide rails is impinged at its front end by the flight-pressure head of the aircraft, so that it is ejected from the tail end of the container. For rapidly realizing the necessary safety distance between the aircraft and the dropped object at the tail end of the container there is deflected a flow onto the departing object, so that a pressure pulse is applied to the object and it is accelerated. The invention is particularly suitable for accurately laying a multiplicity of objects at surface-like or areal targets i.e. upon a given terrain. Its use is contemplated for both civilian applications, such as dropping life saving and supporting equipment and so forth, and military applications, such as for dropping bombs, mines and other ordinance. The apparatus is extremely simple and functionally reliable. The only movable auxiliary means needed is a controllable bolt or equivalent structure within a blocking device for the release of the object.
