摘要： Bulky waste materials may be effectively reduced to a desirable recycling particle size by a waste recycling device equipped with a preshredding chamber and a shredding chamber. Rotors equipped with differently shaped and configured impacting heads or blades strategically positioned about the rotors within the two chambers serve to break the waste materials into progressively smaller sized particles. The preshredding rotor is typically operated at a lower rotational speed than the shredding rotor. The shredding rotor may be equipped with shredding blades which protectively retract from a working zone when exposed to excessive shearing forces. Relatively rigid waste materials such as wooden pallets may be effectively and continuously reduced in massive quantities to a recyclable size with the waste recycling device.

摘要： Apparatus for grinding materials, particularly sticky materials of organic and inorganic origin. The apparatus has a cylindrical casing in which, along its axis, a rotor in the shape of a disc mounted, the disc being driven by a prime mover. The disc has evenly distributed along its circumference on both of its sides. One of the openings in the casing is closed by a fixed front cover having a receiving neck, disposed along its axis and counter-pins designed on the inside of the casing and evenly distributed along a circumference. A ground material discharge opening is disposed between the disc and a back cover for the casing. The rotor is enveloped by a bushing firmly fixed to the casing and longitudinal races are disposed on the side of the rotor, and on the external side circumference cooling closed races are located.

摘要： A horizontal axis pulverizing and classifying apparatus fitted with special means for removing contaminants, such as abrasive particles, which reduce the capacity and efficiency of such apparatus. The contaminant take-out device is a porous tubular duct communicating with the classification zone of the apparatus through the housing wall. The porous tubular duct is surrounded by a non-porous tubular casing forming an annulus connected to a source of gas under pressure by means of which the quantity of contaminant tailings is removed by varying the amount and pressure of gas introduced. The apparatus may also include a plurality of gas flow apertures surrounding the classification zone and directed generally radially inward, and means for selectively and variably introducing gas to those apertures, for providing improved control over the contaminant take-out device.

摘要： A blower beater mill for grinding and drying operations in which a rotor is provided with a beater portion located on the mill shaft and has also a fan impeller. Beater arms of a beater portion are fastened between hub rings of the mill shaft. The shaft is water-cooled along its longitudinal axis. Shaft crests of the hub rings are enclosed by a jacket at a spaced distance therefrom. The jacket is made of individual rings through which the beater arms pass. The width of these rings is slightly larger than the spacing between two adjacent rows of beater arms. The rings, moreover, overlap in the area of cutouts of the beater arms. The rings may have U-shaped profiles with vertical legs inserted together with the beater arms into grooves between the hub rings. The space between two adjacent U-shaped rings and two adjacent beater arms, located within one beater arm row, is covered by sheet metal connected to the rings and the beater arms. The vertical legs of the U-shaped rings extend close to the bottom of the grooves and are penetrated by hub bolts holding the beater arms. The vertical legs, furthermore, may have cutouts at a level above the hub rings. A coolant gas source may be connected to the space between the rings of the jacket and the hub rings.

Means are provided for automatically stopping the rotor when a foreign metal particle lodges across a gap between conductive surfaces connected to the rotor and the housing.

摘要： A pulverizer comprising a cylindrical casing, the inner wall of which is lined with a liner having a plurality of grooves thereon extending substantially parallel to the centerline of the casing, a plurality of rotors rotatable concentrically about said centerline in the casing, said rotors having a number of radially extending blades respectively. The diameter of rotors up to the tip of the blade is slightly less than the inner diameter of the liner. At one end of said rotors there is provided a disc-shape distributor, and at one end of said cylindrical casing there is provided an end cover having in its center an opening for feeding material. Adjacent to this opening there is provided a chamber wherein material supplied is given a prewhirl movement. Material is then transferred through the opening at the center of the end cover to the center of the distributor. The material is thereafter delivered to the outer periphery of the respective rotors.
