摘要： A blocking apparatus is disclosed for selectively blocking movement of a deadbolt actuation lever on a door. The apparatus includes a base mounting plate for mounting on the door, the base mounting plate including an engaging portion for positioning against the inside surface of the door and a deadbolt receiving portion for positioning against the edge surface of the door. The apparatus also includes a mounting shaft mounted on and extending from the engaging portion and a blocking member mounted on the mounting shaft and movable between a block position and an unblocked position. The block position is characterized by the blocking member blocking movement of the deadbolt actuation lever from the locked orientation to the unlocked orientation. The unblocked position of the blocking member is characterized by the deadbolt actuation lever being free to move without interference by the blocking member.

The device includes an actuating arrangement to allow tracking of the acceleration of the key during a locking or unlocking motion. These tracked signals are evaluated relative to at least two known signals indicative of a locking movement or an unlocking movement. The user is able to query the device at a later point in time and receive timing information of the present status and timing information between changes in status.

摘要： A reset cradle with integral reset tool assembly, that automatically positions the lock cylinder, the reset tool assembly, and all associated components, and choreographs the operations that need to be performed in the right sequential order. The reset cradle generally comprises a two-section housing including a base section with centrally-protruding tubular post into which the lock cylinder may be inserted, and a separate hub section rotatably seated on the base. Inside the housing, a cam is engaged against the post and is rotatable thereabout along with relative rotation of the two-section housing. A reset member is also operative inside the housing, and is engaged by rotation of the cam for axial displacement into the lock cylinder. Similarly, a detent pin is slidably seated in the post and is engaged by the cam for axial displacement into the lock cylinder. Relative rotation of the two-part housing resets the lock cylinder via the reset member and detent pin, and allows the lock cylinder to be placed in a learn mode for rekeying without a valid key.

摘要： A remote control antifreeze device for a vehicle locking unit comprising a housing with an upper end having a bore centrally formed therein. A slot is formed between the bore and top surface thereof for allowing the bore to be situated about a conventional cylindrical locking unit. Also included is a helical heating element situated in a serpentine configuration within the housing adjacent to the locking unit and further secured thereto. A thin electrical insulator sheath is positioned about a surface thereof. The heating element is adapted to radiate heat energy upon the application of a voltage thereto. A control receiver switch is also situated within the housing. The control receiver switch comprises control circuitry coupled to a power source, a radio receiver element, and the heating element. The receiver control circuitry switch is adapted to allow the application of a voltage to the heating element upon the receipt of an actuation signal manually deployed by a portable transmitter unit.

摘要： A door latch bolt locking device for use with a latch bolt having a transverse groove or kerf in its top surface and which will positively prevent the withdrawal of the latch bolt. The device comprises a slideable member adapted to be substantially flush with the intersecting edge surface of the door and the inner surface of the door. The slideable member will have a first portion which will be substantially flush with the inner surface of the door and an integral tongue portion at a right angle to the flat portion and adapted to be substantially flush with the edge surface of the door. The locking device is also provided with means for allowing the slideable member to be moved through a limited vertical distance in a substantially flush relationship with the door surfaces so that the tongue member can move into and out of the kerf provided in the latch bolt to thereby lock the door.In a preferred embodiment, the locking device is provided with means for positively maintaining the slideable member in a bolt-locked position when subjected to vertical forces.

摘要： A security locking device for dead-bolt door locks which is distinguished by a shroud that encompasses and grips the dead-bolt actuator at the inside of the door, and is rotatably mounted in a base secured to the inner face of the door, with a handle portion on the shroud exposed to enable the shroud -- and hence the dead-bolt actuator -- to be manually turned. A spring biased security bolt slidably mounted in the base engages a cylindrical side surface of the shroud and snaps into a keeper recess in that surface when the shroud is turned to the position at which the dead-bolt is in its projected door-locking position. A manually rotatable cylinder with an eccentric lug at its inner end to engage one or the other of a pair of opposing shoulders on the security bolt is mounted in the base and operable from inside the door to enable retraction of the security bolt and to selectively hold the security bolt in either its projected operative position or its retracted inoperative position. A similar security bolt control is provided at the outside of the door, but in this case it is in the form of a key controlled lock cylinder which, in its locked position, holds the security bolt in its projected operative position to prevent unauthorized opening of the door, even from the inside, and when turned from its locked position, retracts the security bolt to free the adjacent exterior dead-bolt actuator for the rotation needed to retract the dead-bolt.

摘要： A remote starting device for key actuated ignition systems comprising a key holder, a body member, an adjustable arm and a flexible line. The key holder and arm are secured to opposite ends of the body member and each is positioned to permit rotation of an ignition key held in the holder about the key axis when a force is applied to the arm. The line is attached to the arm and rotation of the key is obtained at a remote location by pulling the line. The angular positions of the arm and the key with respect to the body member are adjustable to provide a means of avoiding mechanical interferences while actuating ignition switches located in various positions within a vehicle from a variety of remote locations.

摘要： Herein described is a safety locking device including an aperture extending through a portion of the locking knob which is displaced offset from the rotational center thereof, and which is aligned substantially on a vertical axis. An elongated pin is provided to be inserted in the aperture in the knob and engage a means permanently affixed on the door or door plate to secure at least one end of the pin to prevent arcuate or rotational movement thereof. A second embodiment illustrates a substantially U-shaped member adapted to fit over the inside of an oblong or elongated shaped knob which includes a substantially elongated shaft mounted to the U-shaped member and extends downwardly from the lock to engage the door knob to prevent rotational movement of the knob when the door is locked.
