    摘要: An apparatus for propelling a plurality of coil clad hoses simultaneously includes a plurality of modules. Each module includes a primary driven bull gear. A follower bull gear is rotatably fastened to a follower axle extending parallel to the drive axle and the follower bull gear meshes with the primary bull gear. A plurality of secondary bull gear/sprocket modules are fastened to each of the axles, each of the modules having a secondary bull gear having teeth extending to a first outer diameter and a sprocket gear having teeth extending a distance less than the first outer diameter. The secondary bull gear teeth of modules on the drive axle mesh with corresponding secondary bull gear teeth of modules on the follower axle to define between adjacent modules an opening width for receiving and passing therebetween a coil clad portion of a high pressure hose.

    摘要: A drive roll carrier includes a hub coupled to and extending axially from a gear along a rotational axis, an engagement feature coupled to and extending axially from the gear, and a retainer disposed about the hub. The gear is rotatable via a wire feed motor. The engagement feature is configured to engage the drive roll and urge rotation of the drive roll as the gear is rotated. The retainer includes an alignment feature configured to receive the drive roll. The retainer may be selectively locked into one of a first position relative to the hub and a second position relative to the hub. The alignment feature and the engagement feature are aligned in the first position and not aligned in the second position, and the retainer may be transitioned between the first and second positions without being translated along the hub in a direction of the rotational axis.

    摘要: The preferred system utilizes two devices to recover larger diameter hoses and couplings. Each of the devices has a plurality of lifting frame arms having a motor disposed between the lifting frame arms. The motor is operatively connected to the rotational drive roller also connected between the lifting frame arms. A hinge or other attaching arrangement that connects the lifting frame arms to mounts allows for lowering the lifting frame arms into a first position and lifting the lifting frame arms into a second position higher the lower rollers. A hydraulic lift cylinder can be utilized to raise and lower the lifting frame arms when a hose coupling on the hose is encountered during the hose recovery process. The devices can be lined up in series and spaced a few feet apart. The devices can be mounted to a tractor, trailer, truck or other similar equipment. A cage can surround the devices on top of the tractor, trailer, truck or other similar equipment. A passageway on top of the vehicle leading to the first of the devices can be utilized in the recovery effort to help guide the hose into the first device.

The wire feed station includes first and second feed wheels that create a nip to pull the wire through the feed station. A drive assembly is coupled to the first and second feed wheels to cause rotation of the feed wheels. The flexible couplings allow the first and second feed wheels to move relative to each other to adjust the feed nip. The flexible couplings allow a single drive motor to rotate the first and second feed wheels through a pair of drive shafts without the use of a complex belt or gear assembly.

The wire injector has a motorized pulley system connected to a drive wheels for moving the wire laterally through the apparatus. Further, upper and lower idler wheels are arranged about the drive wheels to engage the wire with the drive wheels. A clamp connects the upper idler wheels to the lower idler wheels such that a single actuated lever can control and position multiple upper and/or lower idler wheels. Wire line paths for moving the wire are provided intermediate to the drive wheels and the idler wheels. The arrangement of the components of the wire injector allows for customizing the number of idler wheels and drive wheels to, in turn, provide any number of wire line paths for impelling or injecting any number of wires.

    摘要: The automatic coiling machine is a device for automatically coiling an elongated flexible element, such as a fishing line. The automatic coiling machine includes a housing adapted for mounting to a support surface, such as a wall of a boat. The housing includes at least one sidewall. A drive roller is rotatably mounted to the sidewall by a drive shaft. A drive system, such as a motor, is mounted to the sidewall for selectively and controllably driving rotation of the drive shaft and, thus, the drive roller. An idler roller is rotatably mounted to the sidewall adjacent the drive roller and contacting the drive roller so that rotation of the drive roller drives rotation of the idler roller. The sidewall is angled so that an axis of rotation of the drive roller is angled with respect to the axis of rotation of the idler roller.
