摘要： A bicycle brake caliper apparatus comprises a caliper housing and a plug. The caliper housing includes a fluid chamber and an opening for receiving the plug therein, wherein the opening extends to an outside of the housing at a first location. The housing also includes a fluid passage in fluid communication with the fluid chamber, wherein the fluid passage is in fluid communication with an outside of the housing at a second location offset from the first location. The fluid passage is closed when the plug is in a first position. The fluid passage is open when the plug is in a second position so that fluid is allowed to flow from the fluid chamber, through the fluid passage and to the outside of the housing at the second location.

摘要： A hydraulic braking system includes: a master cylinder including a pressurizing piston, a rearward chamber, and a pressure chamber; and a rearward-hydraulic-pressure controller connected to the rearward chamber and including a pressure increase valve and a regulator for controlling a hydraulic pressure in an output chamber. An air detector includes: an upstream detector, including the rearward-hydraulic-pressure controller, for detecting presence or absence of air in an upstream portion based on a relationship between the hydraulic pressure in the output chamber and an open time of the pressure increase valve; and a downstream detector for detecting presence or absence of air in a downstream portion based on a relationship between a stroke of the pressurizing piston and the hydraulic pressure in the output chamber. The downstream portion includes a portion located downstream of the pressure chamber of the master cylinder.

摘要： A master device for a closed hydraulic system of handlebar-steered vehicles includes a basic body and a pressure chamber in which, in the event of actuation of the master device in order to actuate a slave device, hydraulic fluid is placed under pressure. The master device includes a hydraulic line connecting element having a connecting piece for connecting a hydraulic line and a thread section for screwing into the basic body. An air bleed opening bleeds the hydraulic system. The hydraulic line connecting element and the basic body form a valve that closes the connection between the pressure chamber and the air bleed opening when the hydraulic line connecting element is fully screwed in to the basic body.

The caliper housing includes a fluid chamber and an opening for receiving the plug therein, wherein the opening extends to an outside of the housing at a first location. The fluid passage is closed when the plug is in a first position. 摘要： A hydraulic brake system for two-wheel vehicles, especially bicycles, is provided. The system has a filling device, and a dispensing system filled with hydraulic fluid and a brake mechanism hydraulically connected to the dispensing system. The dispensing system also has an equalizing reservoir and a filling and bleeding opening. A bleeding and filling tool with a piston/cylinder arrangement is also provided that is used with the brake system. At least the filling and bleeding opening of the dispensing system is detachably coupleable with the bleeding and filling tool. The bleeding and filling tool is preferably a standard syringe.
