    摘要: A vehicle sun visor system with a touch screen display is configured to display video feed from one or more cameras. A front facing polarized and/or photochromic camera shows the area of view which is normally blocked by the deployed sun visor, allowing the user to view traffic lights, road signs, etc. without the distraction of glare. Software image processing may also be used to reduce glare and improve visibility. In addition, the sun visor system also has a “see-me” camera which allows the user to use the screen as a mirror, and one or more rear-view cameras which can be used to see the passenger area of a vehicle through the touch-screen display. Any of the cameras may be used to take photos or videos, which may be viewed on the display and transmitted wirelessly to other electronic devices or cloud storage.

The driving corrective vision system for the visually impaired includes a front corrective lens, a rear view lens, a driver-side lens, and a passenger side lens. The front corrective lens is connected to a driver side visor, correcting the driver's vision ahead of the vehicle. The rear view lens is attached to the rear view mirror, correcting the driver's vision behind the vehicle. The driver-side lens and the passenger side lens correct the driver's vision along sides of the vehicle and are attached to the respective mirror of the vehicle, correcting vision peripherally. Each of the front corrective lens, the rear view lens, the driver-side lens and the passenger side lens are optically configured to have a focal point at the location of the driver's eyes.

    摘要: A picture frame display device is provided that can be detachably secured to the sun visor of an automobile. The front face of the device features at least two windows adapted to display 4″×6″ photographs, artwork, or postcards. These windows are surrounded by a border of synthetic leather. Pictures are inserted into the window by means of an opening along the back of the device which is constructed of a rigid material covered with synthetic leather. A storage pocket is located on a side of the frame, lying between the front and back portions and is large enough to accommodate the storage of pictures not being displayed at the time. Elastic straps attached to the back of the device provide a means for securing the same to a sun visor.

    摘要: A system and method for controlling a vehicle sun visor that uses commonly existing onboard sensors and systems to provide all necessary inputs. The method uses GPS and solar almanac data to determine the location of the sun relative to the vehicle, driver side view mirror angle data to determine the position of the driver's eyes within the vehicle, and an existing outside light metering device to determine whether the sun is actually shining on the vehicle, and uses this information to calculate the optimum position of the sun visor. If a forward-looking camera is available on the vehicle, camera images can be used to improve the estimate of the sun position relative to the vehicle.
