    摘要: A synthetic resin compatibilizer comprising a copolymer of a polyoxyalkylene derivative represented by general formula(I) with maleic anhydride, maleic acid, or a salt or an ester thereof ##STR1## where B represents a residue of a compound having from 2 to 8 hydroxyl groups; AO represents an oxyalkylene group having from 2 to 18 carbon atoms; R.sup.1 represents an unsaturated hydrocarbon group having from 2 to 5 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 represents a hydrocarbon or acyl group having from 1 to 40 carbon atoms; a is from 0 to 1,000; b is from 0 to 1,000; c is from 0 to 1,000; l is from 1 to 8; m is from 0 to 2; and n is from 0 to 7; l+m+n=2 to 8; al+bm+cn=1 to 1,000, and m/(l+n).ltoreq.1/3.The synthetic resin compatibilizer provides a polymer alloy having excellent tensile and flexural strengths.

    摘要: A lipid powder having a cross-linked coating thereon comprises a core lipid powder and a water-soluble coating agent coating the core lipid powder. The water-soluble coating agent contains cross-linked protein. A process for preparing lipid powders each having a cross-linked coating thereon comprises the steps of emulsifying lipid and a water-soluble coating agent containing protein to obtain an emulsion, adding a cross-linking agent for the protein the the emulsion to thereby cross-link the protein, atomizing and drying the emulsion containing the cross-linked protein to terminate the cross-linking reaction and to obtain lipid powders each coated with the water-soluble coating agent, and cooling the coated lipid powders.

    摘要: An antifouling paint is described, that contains as its essential components an antifoulant and a polymer of one or more of the monomers A represented by general formula (1) and/or copolymer composed of one or more of the monomers A and one or mroe vinyl polymerizable monomers B that are copolymerizable with said monomer A: ##STR1## wherein X is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; n is an integer of 2 to 4; and m signifies the average degree of polymerization and is zero or a real number. The antifouling paint may contain a slipping agent as the third essential component to provide an even greater fouling resistance.

    摘要: An ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer can be easily grafted in a high graft efficiency with a peroxy group-containing block copolymer consisting of segments of copolymer A, which is a copolymer of a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer or its mixture with a radically copolymerizable monomer, with a radically copolymerizable peroxycarbonate, and segments of (co)polymer B, which is different from copolymer A in the monomer composition and does not contain a monomer unit of the radically copolymerizable peroxycarbonate. The grafted ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer can be effectively used as a compatibilizing agent in a polymer blend of polyolefin with styrene (co)polymer, as an emulsifying agent in an emulsion of high polymer, or as an adhesive at the interface of polyolefin and styrene (co)polymer.
