This invention provides an improver for adhesion of a photosensitive resin composition consisting of an N-phenyl-2H-benzotriazole compound represented by the general formula (1) below. This improver is added for example to a photosensitive resin composition containing an alkali-soluble resin and a photosensitizer: wherein R1 to R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a C1-5 alkyl group; R5 to R9 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a C1-10 alkyl group, an aryl group, a C7-12 aralkyl group, —R10COOR11, or —R10CO—(OCH2CH2)n-OH provided that at least one of R5 and R9 is a hydroxyl group; R10 represents a C2-5 alkylene group; R11 represents a C1-8 alkyl group; and n is an integer of 2 to 20.

The scan driving unit releases the scanning unit retained by the retaining unit, and drives it when the first force is larger than the second force. The retaining unit stops and retains the scanning unit at the predetermined position when the second force is larger than the first force.

The phosphor may be made of Ba, Gd, Y, B, O, and an activator (one or more selected from the group consisting of Ce, and Tb). The phosphor may be expressed by a composition formula of BaGd1-a-bYaLnbB9O16 where Ln represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Ce, and Tb, and a and b satisfy 0.05≦a≦1 and 0.003≦b≦0.5, respectively. The foregoing phosphors are suitably used in a vacuum ultra-violet radiation excited light emitting element. The vacuum ultra-violet radiation excited light emitting element may comprise any one of the foregoing phosphors.

A container cleaning apparatus comprises a solvent cleaning unit having a solvent cleaning chamber, and a rinsing unit having a rinsing chamber connected to the solvent cleaning chamber. Containers are conveyed by a conveyor through the solvent cleaning chamber and the rinsing chamber. The containers are cleaned by jetting a water-soluble or partially water-soluble solvent against the containers in the solvent cleaning chamber. Shutter devices have shutters disposed at an entrance to the solvent cleaning chamber and an exit from the solvent cleaning chamber, respectively, and capable of being moved between closed positions to close the entrance to and the exit from the solvent cleaning chamber and to isolate the solvent cleaning chamber from the rinsing chamber, and open positions to permit the containers to move from the solvent cleaning chamber to the rinsing chamber. A laser emission unit for use in an optical head performs a plurality of functions which are integrated. A laser beam from the laser emission unit mounted in a lens holder is emitted through an objective lens and is focused on an optical medium. A reflected beam from the optical medium returns through the objective lens and a diffraction grating to a signal detection circuit in the laser emission unit. Since the laser emission unit performs a plurality of functions, the space for various elements otherwise required in the optical head can be eliminated. The space for an additional light path for the reflected beam is also eliminated. Therefore, the size of the optical head is very small. Since the optical head can be assembled by using a small number of parts, the production costs can be reduced. Furthermore, the optical head can shield the noises by using the housing and/or the lens holder itself.
