    Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for signaling and scheduling in carrier aggregation with multiple serving cells. In some embodiments, the method includes: receiving, by a User Equipment (UE), in a first Component Carrier (CC), a Downlink Control Information (DCI), the DCI scheduling a first Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) in a second CC, and a second PDSCH in a third CC, the second CC and the third CC being different, the DCI including a multi-carrier Time Domain Resource Allocation (TDRA) index; retrieving, based on the multi-carrier TDRA index, from a multi-carrier TDRA table stored by the UE, a TDRA for the first PDSCH and a TDRA for the second PDSCH; and receiving, by the UE, the first PDSCH, using time domain resources for PDSCH reception based on the retrieved TDRA for the first PDSCH.

    Abstract: A User Equipment is disclosed that determines a default Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) state in a wireless communication network in a High-Speed Train environment. The UE determines that wireless communication is being carried out in Frequency Range 2 and receives one or more Core Resource Sets (CORESETs) carrying a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) with a Downlink Control Information (DCI); that a time offset between reception by the UE of the DCI and a corresponding Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) is less than a predetermined time threshold; that the PDSCH is configured with a Single Frequency Network (SFN) scheme; that an option to enable two default TCI states for the UE is not configured; whether the PDCCH is configured with an SFN scheme; and based on a result of determining whether the PDCCH is configured with an SFN scheme, a default TCI state is determined for PDSCH reception.

    Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed to manage beams in a Multicast and Broadcast Services (MBS) wireless communication network. A first device receives a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) and a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) for MBS communications in a Common Frequency Resource (CFR). The first device also receives a configuration sent by the second device that is for a MBS Beam Failure Detection Reference Signal (BFD-RS). The first device may then detect a MBS Beam Failure Incident (BFI) of a first MBS beam using the MBS BFD-RS configuration. In response to detecting the BFI, the first device may autonomously connect to a second MBS beam. Alternatively, the first device may communicate the BFI to the second device in order to recover a MBS beam. In one embodiment, the first device is a User Equipment (UE), and the second device is a Next Generation NodeB (gNB).

    Abstract: A system and a method in a wireless communication network are disclosed to reduce a power consumption of a Multicast and Broadcast Services (MBS) device. The device includes an interface to the wireless communication network that receives wireless communications from the wireless communication network, and a controller. The controller controls the interface to receive unicast communications in a bandwidth part (BWP) of the wireless communication network and to receive MBS communications in a common frequency resource (CFR) of the wireless communications. The controller further controls the interface by selectively receiving MBS communications in the CFR to reduce a frequency bandwidth of the interface, or a combination thereof, to reduce a power consumption of the device.
