    Abstract: A display device includes a display area configured to include a plurality of pixels and a plurality of data lines connected to the pixels. A hole area is disposed within the display area. A hole crack detection line is disposed adjacent to the hole area and surrounds the hole area. The device includes first and second detection lines which include first and second detection transfer lines and first and second detection receiving lines, respectively. A test controller electrically connects the first detection receiving line to a first data line and the second detection receiving line to a second data line. Pixels connected to the first data line that is connected to a first bright-line transistor and pixels connected to the second data line that is connected to a second bright-line transistor are configured to emit light when a crack occurs in the hole crack detection line.

    Abstract: A display device includes a defect inspection circuit, and a display panel having a display area and a peripheral area positioned outside the display area. The display panel includes a sensing wire positioned in the peripheral area and connected to the defect inspection circuit. The defect inspection circuit includes a resistance detection circuit that detects a resistance of the sensing wire based on an output signal corresponding to the sensing wire, a memory that stores first resistance information related to the resistance of the sensing wire detected in a first inspection operation, and a comparator circuit including a first comparator that compares the first resistance information with second resistance information. The second resistance information is related to the resistance of the sensing wire detected in a second inspection operation that is performed at a different time than the first inspection operation.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting display device includes a pixel, a data line, a first scan line, a second scan line, and a scan driver. The pixel includes a first transistor, a second transistor, and a third transistor. A source of the first transistor is electrically connected to a drain of the third transistor. A source of the second transistor is configured to receive an initialization voltage. The data line is electrically connected to a source of the third transistor and may transmit a data voltage higher than the initialization voltage. The first scan line is electrically connected to a gate of the third transistor. The second scan line is electrically connected to a gate of the second transistor. The scan driver may provide an initializing scan signal to the second scan line at least two horizontal periods before providing an initial scan signal to the first scan line.

The defect sensing line may be positioned on the peripheral area. The first input pad may be electrically connected to the defect sensing line. The static electricity discharge element may be electrically connected through the defect sensing line to the first input pad.

    Abstract: An array substrate includes a substrate, a barrier layer disposed on the substrate, a buffer layer disposed on the barrier layer, a first insulating layer disposed on the buffer layer, a second insulating layer disposed on the first insulating layer, a plurality of wiring patterns disposed between the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer and/or on the second insulating layer. In addition, the wiring patterns are separated from each other, and extend toward a side of the substrate. The array substrate further includes a recess pattern disposed adjacent the wiring patterns and recessed from a top surface of the second insulating layer to expose at least part of a top surface of the substrate, and an organic insulating layer disposed on the second insulating layer and exposing at least part of a portion of the top surface of the substrate which is exposed by the recess pattern.
