    Abstract: A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a substrate including a display area, the display area including a plurality of pixels configured to display an image and a pad area adjacent to the pad area and configured to transfer electrical signals. At least a portion of the pad area is bendable. The display device also includes an insulating layer formed over the substrate and including a bending groove in the pad area. The bending groove includes a sidewall. A plurality of peripheral wires is formed over the insulating layer, and a cutoff portion is connected to the sidewall and disposed between adjacent peripheral wires.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate; pixels, the pixels each including at least one transistor and a light emitting device connected to the transistor; data lines and scan lines connected to the pixels; and a power line supplying power to the light emitting device. The transistor includes an active pattern on the substrate, source and drain electrodes each connected to the active pattern, a gate electrode on the active pattern, an interlayer insulating layer covering the gate electrode, the interlayer insulating layer including a first interlayer insulating layer, a second interlayer insulating layer, and a third interlayer insulating layer, which are sequentially stacked, and a protective layer provided on the interlayer insulating layer. The third interlayer insulating layer includes a concave part in a region in which the light emitting device and the second conductive layer overlap with each other, and the second conductive layer is in the concave part.

    Abstract: A display device includes an electronic panel, a window, an optical sheet, and a stress control member. The electronic panel includes a first non-bending area having a first area overlapping the optical sheet and a second area overlapping at least part of the recessed area, a bending area configured to be bent relative to the first non-bending area, and a second non-bending area extending from the bending area and movable to a position opposing the first non-bending area. The optical sheet is disposed between the electronic panel and the window and having a recessed area defined therein extending toward a center of the optical sheet. The stress control member overlaps with at least a portion of the second area, at least a portion of the bending area, and at least a portion of the second non-bending area, respectively.

    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate having a pixel area with at least a first rounded corner portion and first to third non-pixel areas arranged sequentially along an outer circumference of the pixel area. An internal circuit in the first non-pixel area has a first end portion adjacent to the first rounded corner portion of the pixel area. The first end portion of the internal circuit is rounded in accordance with the first rounded corner portion. A plurality of routing wires are in the third non-pixel area below the pixel area. The routing wires extending to the pixel area via the second non-pixel area and the first non-pixel area. The routing wires include at least a first routing wire connected to the pixel area passing an area of the first end portion of the internal circuit.

    Abstract: A display device has a substrate with a first pixel area and a second pixel area smaller than the first pixel area. First pixels in the first pixel area are connected with first scan lines. Second pixels in the second pixel area are connected with second scan lines. A first scan driver supplies a first scan signal to the first scan lines, and a second scan driver supplies a second scan signal to the second scan lines. A first signal line supplies a first driving signal to the first and second scan drivers. The first signal line includes first sub signal line to supply the first driving signal to the first scan driver, a second sub signal line to supply the first driving signal to the second scan driver, and a first load matching resistor connected between the first sub signal line and the second sub signal line.

    Abstract: A method of forming a thin film includes preparing a mixture including a light emitting layer material that forms a light emitting layer and a material that forms a layer adjacent to the light emitting layer, and sequentially laminating the light emitting layer and the layer adjacent to the light emitting layer onto a substrate inside a chamber by heating the mixture to a process temperature of the light emitting layer material and a process temperature of the additional material. The light emitting layer material and the additional material have process temperatures that are different from each other. The light emitting layer material and the additional material are laminated onto the substrate sequentially from one of the light emitting layer material and the additional material having a lower process temperature to one of the light emitting layer material and the additional material having a higher process temperature.

    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including a pixel region and a peripheral region. A plurality of pixels is disposed in the pixel region of the substrate. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a light emitting element. Data lines and scan lines are connected to each of the plurality of pixels. A power line is configured to supply power to the plurality of pixels. The power line includes a plurality of first conductive lines and a plurality of second conductive lines intersecting the plurality of first conductive lines. The plurality of second conductive lines is arranged in a region between adjacent light emitting elements of the plurality of pixels. At least some of the plurality of second conductive lines extend in a direction oblique to a direction of extension of the data lines or the scan lines.
