    Abstract: Bandwidth part (BWP) switching may benefit a wireless communications system. Such BWP switching may include indication of one or more timing parameters used for time domain resource allocation. For example, the timing parameters may be indicated based on an index to a look-up table (e.g., a bit field in a control transmission). In some cases, one or more tables may be configured for a given BWP, and different tables may contain a different number of rows. The size of the bit field indexing the table may in turn depend on the number of rows. When switching from a first BWP to a second BWP, the size of the bit field may be based on the table of the first BWP, but the bit field may index the table of the second BWP. Techniques supporting improved timing parameter management during BWP switching are discussed herein.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to the extension of cross-slot scheduling for power efficient paging between different New Radio (NR) operating platforms or environments. In some examples, the same paging downlink control information (DCI) may be shared between existing NR user equipment (UE) and new NR UE in different time slots, where a single paging DCI schedules multiple paging messages for each operating environment. In some examples, the same paging physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) occasion may be shared in existing NR and new NR operating environments for scheduling paging messages in different time slots, but different DCIs are used for scheduling the paging messages. In some examples, the same physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) paging message may be shared in different slots between existing NR and new NR operating environments.

    Abstract: A configuration to enable a UE to monitor downlink control to determine a slot direction while operating in a half duplex operation in a FDD mode. The apparatus receives an indication of a slot pattern for a plurality of slots, wherein the slot pattern indicates the plurality of slots includes at least one flexible slot. The apparatus receives a downlink control monitoring occasion configuration. The apparatus monitors for downlink control from a base station based at least on the indication of the slot pattern and on the monitoring occasion configuration. The apparatus determines whether the at least one flexible slot is an uplink slot or a downlink slot based on a DCI. The apparatus transmits or receives communications on the slot based on the determination.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to transition to communicating on a first bandwidth part from communicating on a second bandwidth part. In order to ensure that the UE is able to perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part, after transitioning to communicating on the first bandwidth part, the UE may be configured to perform receiver processing using reference signals received on the second bandwidth part. That is, for a configured period of time, before the UE is able to perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part using reference signals received on the first bandwidth part, the UE may perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part using reference signals received on the second bandwidth part.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit UE assistance information including UE capability report and measurement report to a base station, and the base station may determine a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring configuration for reduced-capability UEs based at least in part on the UE assistance information. The UE may determine whether a group common PDCCH (GC-PDCCH) communication indicates that the zone identifier is activated for an associated monitoring period. The UE may selectively perform one or more PDCCH blind decodes in one or more search space sets associated with the zone identifier during the monitoring period based at least in part on determining whether the GC-PDCCH communication indicates that the zone identifier is activated for the monitoring period.
