Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may reserve a transmission resource for transmitting a transmission block (TB) via a sidelink communication; reserve a retransmission mission resource for retransmitting the TB, wherein the retransmission resource is reserved such that at least one hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback occasion occurs between transmission of the TB and a first retransmission of the TB; and communicate with another UE via the sidelink communication based at least in part on the transmission and retransmission resources. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, devices of a wireless communications system may be configured to support various techniques for sidelink communications using an unlicensed spectrum, where such sidelink communications are coordinated at least in part by a network device, such as a base station or entity thereof. In some examples, a base station may determine to offload some sidelink communications to the unlicensed spectrum, which may be based on capability information, system channel loading, application priority, periodicity, or quality of service, among other criteria or combinations thereof. Based on such a determination to offload sidelink communications to the unlicensed spectrum, the base station may transmit an indication for one or more user equipments (UEs) to attempt to perform sidelink communications using the unlicensed spectrum (e.g., based on an evaluation of an availability of the unlicensed spectrum by a UE initiating sidelink transmissions).

Abstract: The position of a target user equipment (UE) is determined using a set of Reference Signal Time Difference (RSTD) measurements that includes at least three RSTD measurements generated at different times by the target UE. Each RSTD measurement is produced based on positioning reference signals (PRS) transmitted by a stationary anchor entity and corresponding PRS transmitted by a moving mobile anchor entity. At least two anchor-to-anchor receive-transmit (RxTx) time difference measurements are generated by an anchor entity, wherein each anchor-to-anchor RxTx time difference measurement is associated with the RSTD measurements, and there are fewer anchor-to-anchor RxTx time difference measurements than RSTD measurements. The position estimate of the target UE is determined based on the set of RSTD measurements and the at least two anchor-to-anchor RxTx time difference measurements.

User equipment (UE) may communicate sidelink coordination messages to indicate potential interference and select sidelink resources. For example, a first UE may transmit a sidelink coordination message to a second UE that includes a set of identifiers associated with a set of UEs. The second UE may select a first set of sidelink resources for a first sidelink communication with the first UE based on a reference signal received power (RSRP) of the sidelink coordination message and a reservation of a second set of sidelink resources for a second sidelink communication between the first UE and third UE of the set of UEs. For example, the second UE may determine the reservation, select the first set to be non-overlapping a time domain with the second set based on the RSRP, and perform the second sidelink communication with the first UE.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can transmit first radio access information indicating a first ratio of first sidelink devices configured to use a first radio access technology (RAT) to second sidelink devices configured to use a second RAT. The UE can receive second radio access information from one or more sidelink devices of at least one of the first sidelink devices or the second sidelink devices. Each second radio access information indicates a respective second ratio of the first sidelink devices configured to use the first RAT to the second sidelink devices configured to use the second RAT. The UE can select a resource pool frame structure based on the first ratio and each of the respective second ratios, and the resource pool frame structure is configured to partition a resource pool between the first RAT and the second RAT for sidelink communication in a sidelink network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) of a group of UEs may receive a groupcast retransmission from one or more UEs of the group. For example, a base station may transmit a groupcast transmission to the group of UEs. A first UE of the group of UEs may fail to receive the groupcast transmission and, in response, may transmit a feedback message via a sidelink feedback resource to a second UE of the group of UEs. The feedback message may include a negative acknowledgement (NACK) that indicates the failed reception of the groupcast transmission by the first UE, and the sidelink feedback resource may be indicated by the base station. The second UE may transmit a retransmission of the groupcast transmission to the first UE via a sidelink resource based on receiving the feedback message.

Generally, a user equipment (UE) may identify a set of time and frequency resources reserved by one or more second UEs for one of sidelink transmissions by the one or more second UEs to the first UE or to one or more third UEs (e.g., type A), or sidelink transmissions by the first UE to one or more third UEs (e.g., type B), and may select a first indicator and a second indicator for the reservation. The first indicator of a time resource and the second indicator of a frequency resource may be associated with the identified set of time and frequency resources for the reservation. The UE may transmit a coordination message that includes the first indicator and the second indicator, and includes an indication that the message is associated with type A or type B reservations.
