    Abstract: This disclosure presents processes to allow a conditional reconfiguration of a conditional cell change operation between a user equipment (UE) and one or more of a master node (MN), a source secondary node (SN), or a target SN. In some aspects, a SN/SgNB change required message can include a measurement ID for target PSCells, a dedicated measurement ID for each target PSCell, a set of measurement IDs, or a list of target PSCells, where the data can be prepared by the target SN, or an indication for the MN to inform the source SN about a list of prepared target PSCells or a default measurement ID. In some aspects, the respective of a RRCReconfiguration or a RRCConnectionReconfiguration message can include the measurement ID, the set of measurement IDs, or the default measurement ID to inform the UE on the configurations for the cell change operation.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for conditional proactive discontinuous reception (DRX) measurement are provided. For example, a user equipment (UE) may be in a DRX active state (e.g., where the DRX is used) and configured to proactively measure for radio problems. Another example may relate to a network-controlled implementation where the serving network node (e.g., a base station (BS)) may signal the UE a condition and a configuration for the proactive DRX measurement. Another example may relate to a UE-controlled implementation for improving service unavailability using DRX operation. For example, the serving BS may signal, to the UE, proactive DRX measurement assistance information.

    Abstract: Method, apparatus and computer program product able to determining whether a user equipment in a wireless communications network has applied a stored or acquired system information message of a new system information area within a predefined time, where the user equipment replaced a system information message of an initial system information area with a system information message of another system information area or with a cell-specific system information message of another cell. If the new system information area is equivalent to the system information area of the initial system information area, then the system information message for the initial system information area is applied. If the new system information area is different from the system information area of the initial system information area, then a system information message for that different system information area is applied.

    Abstract: In accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform at least receiving, by a network device of a communication network, information providing an indication to connect to a network node of the communication network using a RACH-less signaling procedure; determining that connecting to the network node using the RACH-less signaling procedure has failed; and based on the RACH-less signaling procedure failing, using at least one alternative signaling procedure for connecting to the network node using the UL resources from RACH-less procedure. Further, in accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform based on a RACH-less signaling procedure from a network device failing to connect to a network node, receiving, by the network node, at least one alternative signaling procedure from the network device for the connecting; and establishing a connection with the network device based on the at least one alternative signaling procedure from the network device using the UL resources from RACH-less procedure.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for robust system information (SI) delivery are provided. One method may include receiving, by a network node, a SI request from a UE, and transmitting an acknowledgement of the SI request to the UE. In one example, the method may include selecting, by the network node, a subset of downlink beams for transmitting the requested SI message. In an embodiment, the selecting may include selecting the subset of downlink beams based on SI requests associated with SS/PBCH blocks, and the subset of downlink beams associated with the SI requests are used for the delivery of an SI message.
