Abstract: A method for sending a physical uplink control channel includes: generating a physical uplink control channel, where the physical uplink control channel carries a demodulation reference signal and uplink control information, the physical uplink control channel is sent on a resource element set, the resource element set occupies at least two time domain symbols in time domain, the demodulation reference signal is located on at least one time domain symbol of the resource element set, the at least one time domain symbol includes a first time domain symbol, the demodulation reference signal occupies some frequency domain subcarriers of the resource element set on the first time domain symbol, and the some frequency domain subcarriers are the same as frequency domain subcarriers that are occupied by the uplink control information and that are of the resource element set; and sending the physical uplink control channel.

Abstract: A data transmission method and an apparatus are provided. In this solution, one contention resource group may be divided into a plurality of terminal device groups, and terminal devices with a same DMRS may exist in two different terminal device groups. Even when terminal devices with a same DMRS exist in two different terminal device groups, interference can still be avoided. Therefore, according to embodiments of the present invention, a quantity of connected terminal devices in one contention resource group is increased while good communication quality is obtained.

The data transmission method determines, by a terminal device, a first reference signal (RS) sequence corresponding to a first time interval, where the first RS sequence is one of N RS sequences, N is a positive integer greater than 1, and the N RS sequences are generated based on at least two root sequences, sends, by the terminal device, the first RS sequence to a base station in the first time interval, determines, by the terminal device from the N RS sequences according to the first RS sequence, one RS sequence as a second RS sequence corresponding to a second time interval, where the second RS sequence is determined according to the first RS sequence, and sends the second RS sequence to the base station in the second time interval.

Abstract: A terminal device determines a resource of a physical uplink control channel. The physical uplink control channel carries a first encoded bit sequence and a second encoded bit sequence, the first encoded bit sequence is corresponding to first uplink control information, and the second encoded bit sequence is corresponding to second uplink control information. The resource for the physical uplink control channel includes N orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol sets. The first encoded bit sequence is carried in an OFDM symbol included in j OFDM symbol sets, the j OFDM symbol sets are a part of or all of of the N OFDM symbol sets, where j is a positive integer less than or equal to N. The terminal device sends, on the resource for the physical uplink control channel, a signal that is generated based on the first uplink control information and the second uplink control information.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a terminal device receives downlink control information that is sent by a network device and that indicates a first physical downlink control channel (PUCCH), where the first PUCCH and a second PUCCH occupy a same first time-domain symbol, and the first PUCCH and a third PUCCH occupy a same second time-domain symbol; and the terminal device sends the first PUCCH, where the first PUCCH carries a first sequence and a second sequence, a cyclic shift of the first sequence is determined based on a hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) value and state information of a scheduling request (SR) corresponding to the second PUCCH, and a cyclic shift of the second sequence is determined based on the HARQ-ACK value and state information of an SR corresponding to the third PUCCH. An HARQ-ACK and a plurality of SRs can be multiplexed on a same PUCCH improving communication efficiency.
