Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a method for reducing a peak-to-average power ratio PAPR, and a communication apparatus, and are applied to a transmitting system including a power amplifier. In the method, a reserved resource may be determined based on a first unscheduled resource in transmission bandwidth and/or a second unscheduled resource in guard bandwidth, and a fixed reserved resource in a conventional technology does not need to be used. Therefore, flexibility of determining the reserved resource can be improved, and flexibility of reducing a peak-to-average power ratio PAPR in a frequency domain resource reservation TR manner can further be improved.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a carrier signal processing method and apparatus. In the method, clipping factors are determined based on scheduling information corresponding to at least two respective carrier signals in a first time unit, the clipping factors correspond to the at least two respective carrier signals in the first time unit and are used for clipping processing a combination signal of the at least two carrier signals in the first time unit. The at least two carrier signals and the clipping factors are sent to a radio unit for processing. In this solution, clipping factors are matched in real time with scheduling information respectively corresponding to a plurality of carrier signals in the first time unit, to improve clipping performance.

Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure improve the reliability of blind decoding when beamforming is used by having a user equipment (UE) receive a single downlink control information (DCI) message with different transmission and/or reception parameters. In some embodiments, a UE receives more than one set of configuration parameters, where any two sets of configuration parameters out of the more than one set of configuration parameters have at least one different parameter. The UE may receive two sets of configuration parameters each having a different transmission modes, but the same search space type. Additional examples are also provided.
